We very much enjoyed our two night stay here. The site is rustic as described, the swimming is lovely, and everything met our expectations. We did not use the hibachi grill or most of the other gear provided, but the camp stove worked great for making coffee in the morning. Propane, a few logs of hardwood, kindling and newspaper, all were provided. Owners were helpful and friendly and checked in. It was absolutely perfect for our two dogs who enjoyed the site even more than my wife and I. We would definitely return and recommend this site.

This place was amazing! The water is crystal clear and decently/surprisingly warm. The beach was great for the kids and adults alike. We had kids as young as 2 play in the water with no problem. The hosts were very accommodating and friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for anything from a romantic little getaway or great time with friends and family.

What an amazing spot to stay! If you like to swim, this is the place to be. Steps away from beautiful clean water and a sandy bottom. Sarah was the absolute sweetest and I can’t wait for Sylvie and I to go back. Pack light as these tents are set up for comfort and there isn’t much that you’ll need! 10 out of 10.

The site was great! It was private and the closeness to the lake was perfect. The site was well appointed and super well maintained. My daughter and I absolutely loved it, and we feel so blessed to find it. Sarah was was an excellent host and quick to communicate if we needed anything.
This was our third TENTRR. The only thing I would recommend is some type of Floor Covering to prevent the mosquitoes from coming in from below. Ultimately, camping is camping and mosquitoes are part of that experience.

My girlfriend and I had an amazing time in the Rustic Cabin. It was cozy, spacious, and had everything you could need. The bathrooms were also close by and clean. We lucked out and got the entire beach to ourselves and made some great memories. The location is perfect for exploring Sebago and the surrounding area of Windham. Our host was responsive and was very sweet. We would definitely stay again!

We had an amazing time here! Sarah was very accommodating and responsive during our stay. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed for our time here. The beach is absolutely serene and private since it is closed to the public! I definitely recommend a getaway here.

I've camped here 3 times and it always feels like home. A genuinely beautiful, special place. The other campsites are very dispersed so it's nice and private. Sarah is a wonderful human, definitely support and take care of this place so it can continue to be the gem that it is! Happy Camping!

We had a great time at Sarah’s rustic cabin. The view was amazing and private. It was a perfect spot to have a morning cup of coffee while listening to the loons in a rocking chair. We also had fun playing games at the picnic table. And basketball. We rented a canoe and explored Watchic lake. The cabin had many cooking utensils and was clean. This was the perfect little getaway.

This was the easiest camping trip I have ever gotten to enjoy! Everything was provided (camp-stove, hibachi, tent, Adirondack chairs). Susan even brought us over some extra blankets because it was predicted to be quite cool at night.
The site was amazing! We got to wake listening to loons and the other sounds of the lake. My dog’s especially loved being able to swim right from our site! We really enjoyed our little vacation and hope we will be able to come back again next year.

It was a nice spot to camp. No one else was there so it was especially quiet. Right on the water. Pond was clean with a sandy bottom. Well equipped site with everything you need to cook. Sarah was really helpful.

Cabine was clean equiped with basic kitchen tools. Main bed is ok.
Nice location in front of the lake. There was nobody at the near by beach during our stay.. Lot of goose however leave shits on their ways.
Sofa bed is not very confortable for sleeping.
Sarah is very kind.
We recommand this place.

What a wonderful stay! A truly beautiful location - the lake is fabulous, it’s super convenient with amenities (fire pit, grill, picnic table, etc), and hosts were available if there were any questions. We were on the campsite closest to the beach. The beach is closed to the public and it’s sometimes used for kids summer day camp during the week days. Also! My dog had a great time too! Definitely plan to be back!

Camping here is the highlight of our Maine summer. Waterfront camping with the sounds of loons nearby. Clean and spacious site with everything you could need. They take great care of their property. We look forward to returning next year.

I camp on Sarah’s land every year! The campsites are private and the beach is within a few feet. Lake water is warm and clean during the summer! Would highly recommend!

My family and I had an incredible time celebrating my husband's birthday here. It was our first time staying in a tentr. We loved it! Sarah and her husband were exceptional hosts. We were greeted upon arrival and welcomed with wood, kindling and propane. The lake was crystal clear, warm, and had a soft, sandy bottom. The campsite was private, however as noted in the description camp kids during the week use the beach next door to the site for a few hours, which didn't bother us. The campsite was dog friendly which we loved and so did our two dogs. They enjoyed hours of swimming with the lake just a few steps away. We enjoyed listening to the waves and loons at night in our roomy and comfortable tent. Overall this was our first Hipcamp experience and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Will be booking again.

Very pretty, Sarah was a very nice host. Had a fun time canoeing on the gorgeous lake. Amazing wildlife and very peaceful. Would rate 5 stars every time.

We had a wonderful weekend stay at Sarah's place! We booked "Lake Front At Kiwanis Beach" for two nights and it was more than we could have asked for. Imagine a having an entire private beach on pristine Watchic Lake all to yourself... well that's exactly what it was! This location used to be a public beach, but it is now private with only 2 sites for camping and 1 cabin. We had the place to ourselves this weekend, so it was amazing to be able to let our dogs run and explore without having to worry about them bothering anyone.
The tent was a great size and it had a screen to keep out the flying bugs. It had a comfortable full size bed and space around it for the dogs to sleep. There was a hibachi grill, a Coleman camp stove (with propane included!), a brand new fire pit that had two levels for grilling, wood/kindling to get us started, 5 gallons of drinking water, battery powered lantern, first aid kit, large cooler, campsite guidebook, cooking pots/pans/utensils and Coleman dinnerware. There were many picnic tables throughout the property. On our campsite itself there were three picnic tables, one of which was covered with a cabana for sun and rain protection. There were two great quality Adirondack chairs to laze around the camp fire. There were several clean port-a-potties and trash barrels with bags. I am running out of space, so I have to stop here... but honestly, we could not have asked for more! Thank you so much, Sarah! Looking forward to the next time!
