A summer cabin on a quiet lake in the woods of Maine.... Perfect for swimming, hiking, boating and just relaxing! At the end of a dirt road but just 20 minutes from Bangor/Brewer. Kayaks and rowboats for getting out on the water, shoreline, forest and wetlands to explore, and a full kitchen for preparing meals. Running water but not potable; composting toilet or portapotty.Holbrook Sanctuary is a summer cabin in the woods, on the edge of a quiet lake yet only 20 minutes from Bangor/Brewer Maine. There are cabins on either side of ours-- not close but it is not isolated. The rental is for the whole cabin and use of the kayays and rowboat.

Holbrook Lakeside Sanctuary
Katrina's place felt like a hidden gem. Tranquil, cozy and well-equipped. About an hour from hikes at Acadia National Park. We enjoyed afternoons padding and swimming in the lake and taking in the sunshine on the dock. Communication with Katrina was easy. Highly recommend!
