Absolutely LOVED this campsite!! It's so well thought out and the neighborhood is incredibly peaceful. Did not want to leave. The lake is seriously stunning.

Salinas’s camping area was just as described. Private, with a generous space for gathering and room for 3 tents. I loved that there were two picnic tables, one under a screen tent and the other out in the open. The view from the dock was gorgeous, and we enjoyed the rental kayaks! . Salina’s was very warm, easy to communicate with and accommodating as we had an extra car that we were able to park across the road. We also appreciated a few extras such as barbecuing tools, a Sun, shower and small flashlight. We would love to come back.

This is a great site with amazing views and excellent lake access! The owners were clear communicators who went out of their way to ensure that we had a good experience. We would highly recommend this site.

A really nice and private lake-side retreat. The dock makes diving into the lake a treat, and, for us, perhaps the best feature.
We had our own inflatable kayak and SUP, but these are available to rent from the hosts.
Firewood is also available on-site for $10, though we did not have a fire. Given the daily price I felt this could have been included.
We had a tear-drop trailer parked in the parking spot, which worked, but was not ideal as it is separate from the camping area. Not a biggie though, just a comment for others that may have a trailer. This is really a tent oriented site, as advertised.
The hosts prepared the site and the experience in every way one could imagine - very thoughtful.

Fantastic stay for a short two night visit. Sure does offer many extras and that's super helpful. The lake views/mountains are absolutely gorgeous and I encourage waking up for the sunrise! Host were amazing 10

Salinan’s retreat is truly one of a kind. Very clean and well layed out with you in mind. The privacy throughout was very nice. Brought our dog and she loved swimming off the dock. All very nice amenities to make your stay fun and relaxing highly recommend and will definately be back

Beautiful, peaceful, super private. Awesome that there’s a wood fence around the spot so we could have our dogs loose. The dock was an amazing spot to begin and end our days at. Loved it and the flowers were beautiful. Definitely would recommend this spot. 🏕️ 💕

This was our second time camping at Salinans site. We love it there. It’s extremely private- hardly any boats on the lake and the fenced in yard is so nice for our small kids. We love the dock and the beautiful flowers. Great site

This was the nicest HIP camp I've ever been too. The binder of things to do was very helpful as the weather was a bit rainy.
Great communication from thr host. The location is in a very quiet and personal spot. We will be back next year!

Flagstaff Lakeside Retreat
This campsite is fantastic! Great access to so many great outdoors adventures in the Eustis/Carrabassett Valley. The campsite itself is thoughtfully laid out, and the dock access to the lake is wonderful. The fence around the property gives privacy, but isn't claustrophobic, and is great for pets and young children. It feels like a little fort in the woods you used to build with your friends during the summer.

We really enjoyed our time camping at this site on Flagstaff Lake. The site was very private and thoughtfully laid out with two areas for tents (plenty of trees if you need to use a tarp), a clean porta-potty, and a picnic table and chairs near the firepit. It rained most of the time we were there, but we still had a great time and there was plenty of dry firewood for when the rain stopped. The host was very helpful, the view of the lake was beautiful and we hope to come back next summer when it's warm so that we can enjoy some swimming off of the dock!

Flagstaff Lakeside Retreat
I had a lovely evening at Flagstaff Lake while on the road between Quebec and coastal Maine. The site is private, quiet, clean and scenic. My two dogs loved doing zoomies around the site, which is mostly fenced. Salinan is lovely to chat with and I felt very comfortable knowing he was around if I needed anything.

Our camping trip to the site was fantastic! It's a gorgeous location on the lake. We enjoyed swimming and kayaking. The site was well supplied with a grill, grilling utensils, water, a cornhole set, and a clean portapotty. We loved hanging out on the dock in the mornings and evenings. The hosts were responsive and helpful. Definitely will come back!

This site is incredible. Very private and quiet. A big dock! The flowers were stunning. It was great with kids; and would be great for a dog with a gate that can go across the front. We were supposed to stay for three nights but had to leave after one because of an emergency; but we very much hope to be back!

The campsite was wonderful! It was fenced in which made it private from the road and neighbors. They had a picnic table, firepit, portapotty (clean!), chairs, a few tables, charcoal grill, water jug and flowers all around which made lovely! They coordinated a canoe rental for us and we enjoyed exploring the lake. The spots for the tents are a bit small and may not accommodate a large tent but it wasn't an issue for us. We would definitely come back!

This property is a real gem! We had a quick overnight stay but hope to be back. The lake is gorgeous and perfect for swimming. The property is so lovingly taken care of and private. We hope to be back one day for a longer stay! Everything was immaculate and the site had beautiful flowers to top it off! Communication with our hosts was east, basically you should stay here. Our stay was perfect. Salinan’s camp is super private, quiet, and had everything we needed. Plenty of drinking water for our two night stay, fire pit, chairs, and a clean porta potty. The dock received full sun throughout the day, which made for lovely mornings with coffee and great afternoon sun bathing and swimming. We’ll definitely be staying here again when we bike in Carrabassett valley. Huge bonus that our dog could be with us too.
