This glamping spot is truly a gem! We stayed for two nights and wish we could have spent at least a week! Steve has set things up to where guests have everything they need and nothing they don't, and the peace and quiet we experienced was so revitalizing. Steve also went above and beyond to help make our stay as stress free as possible when we found ourselves with car troubles at the campsite. He drove out of his way to make sure that we were safe and would be able to make it home. We will 100% be booking again here in the future!

Wildwood - Remote Wonderland
Took my family of 5 (Wife, 1, 4, and 7 year old) to this site. We were delighted to find the site even better than advertised. Despite being very remote, it had a screened-in kitchen, 3 fireplaces, a bathroom shed, and a heated open-air shower. The solar powered evening lights kept the fun going after dark and safe for the family (motion lights to the bathroom and kitchen). The ramped walkways were a plus as well - no falls on the rocks and inclines. Direct access to the lake was the kids' favorite part and is great for swimming. We did not see one single person other than 2 kayakers on Flagstaff lake (in late-August). Looking over the lake at night and not seeing any other lights or camps make star-gazing magical. Oh, and the tent comfortably held everyone (2 adult cots, a pack-n-play, and two sleeping bags) so no concerns there. Steve is a great host and it is OBVIOUS a lot of love, care, and concern was put into the planning of this site. He checked in before and after the trip and provided a 7 page documenting the camp and greater "Wildwoods" area. Side note, the drive up to camp has numerous pull-offs on public land - definitely worth a few stops even if just for some pictures.

Wildwood
Our family loved staying here! We needed a spot to tuck in for a few days away despite the rainy weather and this camp fit the bill perfectly with the shelter building and rent set up. We spent a fantastic rainy day playing games and cooking food while watching the rain fall. Spent lots of time on the dock and in the hammock. Everything was so well stocked, we'll definitely be back!

Great ME Camping Trip
Steve's Wildwood experience is special and unique in this day. Not only the cool tent, gazebo and outbuildings but the physical surroundings, a huge, friendly lake where all you can see across the water is unspoiled, undeveloped, mountainous forestland. The previous intel we got from other satisfied users of Wildwood, along with Steve's helpful planning guide and followup texts, all insured we'd have a good time..and we did!

Incredible spot in the remote reaches of Maine. Steve provided many creature comforts such as hot water, lights, everything you need to cook meals, comfortable couch and chairs, and a plug-in cooler. We most enjoyed listening to the loons at night and dinners on the dock.

Wanted to Stay Longer!
What a beautiful place and wonderful experience! Steve’s communication prior to and after our trip was terrific and we felt at home at Wildwood. Our three boys (11, 12, and 13) and one girl (9) had a great time swimming, fishing, lounging in the hammock, and exploring. The property had everything we needed and was clean and well cared for. The kids asked if we can go back next summer and we hope to make that happen!
