We had a lovely stay at the cabin! It’s beautiful there, the hosts were very welcoming, and my kids adored seeing the animals and feeding the pigs. Highly recommend this spot. And it’s true what everyone says about the outhouse, it’s awesome!

We had the best time at this farm. The last day of our camping trip nearby was cut short because of impending rain and we booked this space last minute. What a gem! The space is cozy and comfortably slept our party of 5. In the morning we happened upon one of the hosts by the little farm store on property (you have to have the elderberry gelato) and he gave us the most wonderful tour of the farm. Our kids got to feed the pigs and we got to see their incredible greenhouse/garden. Then we walked across the way to learn all about the sheep. Our kids (ages 8-14) were totally enthralled-a tough ask for this age group sometimes. Our hosts also suggested a delicious market/cafe down the road that was a perfect spot on our way out of town. Wishing we had more time to enjoy here.

Rustic Cabin on Organic Farm
This cabin was adorable. Clean, plenty of beds, bedding and pillows. Myself (mom) and 2 girls stayed here for 1 night. Just passing through. We felt very safe and hosts had everything we needed to enjoy the time we were there. This is a great place to unplug,play some board games,or even just to experience staying in a quaint little cabin off the grid. It truley was delightful.

Rustic Cabin on Organic Farm
What a truly beautiful and welcoming place! We loved staying at the farm and hope to visit again on our travels to Maine. Chris and Patti have clearly put a lot of love and hard work into the cabin and the farm and it is a real gem. We appreciated their warm welcome, the quiet and comfort of the cabin, and the chance to meet the animals and enjoy such a beautiful place.

Beautiful farm and extremely accommodating hosts. This is definitely a place worth spending a few nights.
The Land:
- Organic farm (you can say hi to the pigs and and one of the chickens will even let you hold her)
- Very private (best sleep I’ve had in a while)
Amenities:
-The farm shop! You can purchase homemade ice cream, soaps, tinctures, and more at their farm stand in the barn. I may or may not have had ice cream for dinner two nights in a row.
- One of the nicest outhouses I’ve ever used. Very clean and nice little Rumi and Mary Oliver poems on the inside walls.
- Outdoor shower attached to the barn and secluded amongst trees.
-No wifi in the cabin but was able to tether to a Verizon hotspot. Patti and Chris also set me up with wifi in the barn in case I needed a better connection.
- There’s a small brewery next store that wasn’t open during the week when I was there but looks pretty cool.

- Sheepscot General Store: really great store for local products, pizza, pastries, and natural wines.
- Shuck Station for oysters
- Glidden Point for oysters if you prefer to shuck them yourself
- Good mushroom foraging habitat nearby
- Also solid bird watching if you walk along one of nearby roads

Rustic Cabin on Organic Farm
The rustic cabin was perfect! The cabin was quaint and extremely cozy. We really enjoyed A brief walk through the farm to meet the pigs and sheep, and learn more about how the farm runs! We also had a great view of the animals from outside our window.
Chris was a very friendly and helpful host. He gave us lots of recommendations on the area and a local hike. Wish we could have stayed more than one night. Would love to come back!

This cabin was so. dang. DREAMY! We had a lovely stay in Patti & Chris’s rustic cabin on their farm. Got to say hello to their sheep, pigs, and chickens, helped ourselves to coffee in the farm store, and explored the walking trails throughout the area. The cabin was extremely cozy (even when the nights got cold we were comfy) with lanterns, local art and books, and a comfy bed with plenty of blankets. The outhouse was clean and drinking water was provided. Rustic is the perfect word to describe this spot… we loved every minute!

We had a really nice stay! From the quiet and cozy cabin, to the fields and wooded area around, our stay was all around very relaxing and just what was needed. The cabin was clean and well maintained, as were the amenities listed. Will definitely recommend this to friends!

This was a beautiful place to stay. On the first night we starred up at the Milky Way and in the morning I went out to watch hummingbirds feast on the nectar of orange jewelweed, only a couple hundred feet from the cabin. The farm animals were wonderful to visit and Denali, the resident hound, delighted us with occasional visits. Thank you for having us.

Patti and Chris were wonderful hosts, and shared so much of their community with us. We really enjoyed joining them for a farm to table dinner on our first night in the cabin (DELICIOUS!) and breakfast both mornings we were with them was delicious as well. They kept us toasty with hot water bottles, and gave us fun suggestions for exploring the area.
The cabin itself was tastefully decorated, and it was fun to be IN the sheep pasture, but it was also pretty dusty and cobwebby - we couldn't stop sneezing. The cabin itself has no running water, though there is water up at Patti and Chris's. The whole experience was much more rugged than I expected - perhaps not quite worth the price. But wonderful hosts, and a memorable experience, to be sure!

Very private with view into sheep pasture. No electricity, no running water, plenty of potable water provided. The outhouse IS an outhouse, though pleasantly decorated. The outdoor shower is near the hosts’ house, well shielded from view, but cold when we used it (be sure you know how to work the heater). Ask about cheesemaking and international fundraising! Breakfasts were varied and delicious.

Our 5 days at the farm were magical. Patti was such a wonderful host, making us feel right at home and cooking the most delicious breakfasts. The cabin is comfortable and charming. The farm is perfectly located for exploring the beaches, lighthouses, and cute coastal towns of Maine. We all enjoyed exploring the farm, milking the goats, and learning about farm life. We highly recommend this unique getaway.

We had an amazing stay here. The cabin is charmingly set just at the edge of a clearing. We got to walk around the farm and visit the animals before catching some end of day sunlight while preparing dinner. The bed is comfortable, the space is calm and cozy, the toilet is clean and even tastefully decorated :) and finally breakfast was perfect : blueberry pancakes with some homemade yogurt. Patti was very kind and welcoming, she even let us join her early in the morning to milk the goats. We look forward to our next visit!

Despite running a large beautiful farm Patti was very hospitable to us, taking the time to serve us breakfast and get to know us a bit. She offered good suggestions for how to spend our day and it was satisfying to be able to sample some of her goods at breakfast.
We would have liked a little more info on the Hipcamp end to better understand the “camp” stay, we arrived expecting to provide ourselves with camp dinner and such, but there were really no options for cleaning up after ourselves here.

Great expérience thanks to Patti : feeding the animale and milking was very qppreciated. Patti took time to explain.
The Cabin is very cute and clean but has no kitchen and no shower so for 1 night + breakfast for 4 it was finally quiet expensive, but no regrets we had a good time.

Chris and Patti are great and warm people. It's a feat to host people so well and also run a farm at the same time. Not to mention also make magical ice cream and cheese, plus more, in their farm store next door. We milked a goat and interacted with the pigs and goats a bit. The cabin was cozy and decorated well, it felt like a home. I even spent some time with the books on farm life in Maine. Whenever we had time to spare they could always suggest something to see or do or eat. We felt graciously welcome and are glad to have met and have this short but memorable experience.

Our one night stay was a wonderful re-entry after several days camping in the Maine Woods. A lovely, well-built cabin that had fresh picked flowers and a comfortable bed for us.
We enjoyed the outdoor shower with warm water!
Patti provided us with a wonderful breakfast, and Chris peppered our stay with interesting information about the farm and neighborhood. After breakfast, we wrangled sheep to transport to new pastures.
All in all, a wonderful stay. I know we'll be looking for an excuse to return!

What a gem...due to our later arrival, after dark, we weren't able to give to the cabin it's full due but we took it in the following morning with a jaunt around the Hamilton's beautiful property and a delicious breakfast. Our chat with the hosts over the meal was just as filling. There's no doubt this will become our new spot for some unplugging and rest from the big 'city' of Portland on occasion. And we definitely recommend checking out their farm store in the gorgeous, timber-framed barn. We bought some cheese and yogurt to bring home but, honestly, only some of it made it back that far.

We really enjoyed our summer night camping on Patti's lawn (the pasture options were too lumpy), hanging out by the fire, learning about her farming and the area, and getting tips on where to go. The breakfast with all her homegrown food was terrific! Our daughter adored the animals and especially the energetic hound dog. There was drinking water available, and option to use composting toilet. A fun and friendly local base camp to get to know this area!

What a beautiful little farm! Our cabin was cozy and comfy, with lots of thoughtful touches a wonderful view out into the field. I also loved the thick blankets on the beds, as it can get a little chilly at night. There are so many animals here, and lots to do and see- chickens, turkeys, goats, sheep, pigs. We had some nice chats with our hosts- Patti and Chris- who are super friendly and work hard to keep everything running. In the morning, we were provided a feast featuring farm-fresh eggs, yogurt, and preserves made by our hosts. Thank you again!!
