I know that it is peak season for a campground, but this one was so incredibly packed and densely settled. There was very little space between sites and it really took away from our outdoor experience. Like with most campgrounds, it also had a lot of young children running around and unsupervised on bikes. This may be an ideal place for a bunch of families to camp together, but it wasn't a good fit for a couple looking for an outdoor retreat. Additionally, while I am not disabled, I did use the handicap stall near the pool to change and I do feel the need to point out that it wouldn't be very accessible for someone in a wheel chair. The toilet paper was in a very odd space for them to reach and the mirrors in the stall were small the hung at standing height. The views of the mountains and ocean around the pool were great, but it needs to be more explicit that you won't see them from most sites and there aren't many common spaces to just hang out and see the views if you don't get one of the few "lucky" sites.

Bar Harbor Campground was an incredible place to stay. The views were absolutely unreal, with stunning scenery everywhere you looked. The campground itself is beautiful, well-maintained, and offers a great balance of privacy and convenience. What really stood out was the friendly and welcoming staff, who went out of their way to make sure we had a great experience. If you're visiting the Bar Harbor area, I highly recommend staying here. We can't wait to come back!

We had a great time camping at bar harbour campground. Our site had a beautiful water view, the facilities were extremely clean, and the staff was helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back!

The camp felt very safe. The bathrooms, showers, and campsites were super clean. Friendly staff and easy check in. The ocean view and pool are beautiful. 10/10 would stay again!
