Nestled in the foothills of the White Mountains, our 19th century retired farm offers an idyllic retreat with 20+ mile views. Guests can enjoy a variety of outdoor activities in close vicinity, from a short hike up Pleasant Mountain to a relaxing float down the Saco River. The property is also conveniently located near Mount Washington Valley, providing even more opportunities for exploration and adventure. Whether you're seeking tranquility or outdoor excitement, our farm puts you in close access to it all.2 Ferns is a flat grassy 1,000 sq ft space tucked into a re-wilded field with westward views providing breathtaking sunsets almost nightly. Guests enjoy the field to themselves aside from the occasional greeting from 2 poodles who roam their invisibly fenced nearby lawn that you'll pass through on the way into the site. Water can be filtered from a nearby stream 0.6 miles down the road if you are feeling primitive. There are no bathroom amenities here, guests will need to be self contained, take waste with them and leave no trace.

Mountain View Private Campsite
This was a jaw-droppingly beautiful place to camp! The westerly views across the field to the mountains as the sun went down were just gorgeous. Very peaceful and quiet on a rural back road, and a hospitable host. It doesn't get any better than this!

Incredible view!!
Jared’s land was breathtaking from the moment you arrived on the property. Well kept, there’s a picnic table, chiminea and fire extinguisher for use. I followed the path on his land to see his bees and there was a hammock for guest use. I watched lightning at night across the panoramic views! Silent at night aside from some thunder and some bugs. Absolutely would stay here again next time I’m in the area!

Beautiful spot with great views at sunrise/sunset of the mountains in the distance. Quiet and peaceful. Nice touch to have the picnic table and outdoor stove.

Nice spot in a field
It was a nice one spot campsite with a lovely sunset. It’s off rt 302 down some dirt roads but the directions were very clear. There was a picnic table, a chimina and some flowers in a vase for a homey touch. We were in a campervan and fit perfectly but it would be difficult for anything much larger. Mosquitos were fierce at sunset but it was a delightful site otherwise. Jared came to check on us after we arrived.

We loved our stay on Jared’s land! There was a flat space for our camper van, a great table to set up our cooking area, and a cute chimenea for a fire at night. Clean and well kept! Perfect spot on the way to Acadia. Views and fireflies in the evening added to the ambiance. Thanks, Jared!
