Arrowhead Farm is an arrowhead-shaped property boasting a sprawling rural hayfield under wide-open low-light skies brimming with breathtaking stars, bounded by a crystal-clear river, and offering convenient accessibility to the Central Maine area - fresh seafood is a 20-30min drive to the coast, and city life is a 30min drive inland to Augusta, the state capital!
There's plenty to experience locally as well - a mere 15min away, St George Lake offers freshwater salmon and recreational activities for the whole family, and the entire region has various restaurants to try and many charming small towns to explore. The nearby Washington General Store is top-notch, offering home-made food and baked goods alongside anything else you might need during your stay!
Arriving at the property you will find a long gravel driveway leading to the gravel pad set far back from the road. You have full access to 4.8 acres of open field, a stand of trees with a tent-sized clearing sitting above the river, plus the river itself! The river is clean and may be used for swimming and fishing, but please avoid washing dirty items directly in the river - you are more than welcome to bring water up from the river for use if needed!
A compost-style outhouse is available for use, utilizing wood shavings to neutralize smell - just a small amount works fine, a good rule of thumb is: "One for 1, two for 2, three for 'dear me'".
There are four 20A power outlets available for use that should power most home appliance - coffee maker, toaster oven, lights/fans, etc.
The only off-limit areas are the small fenced nursery and the red shed.A firm gravel pad that can support heavy items like trailers, pop-up canopies, etc. will accept thin metal tent stakes.
