Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Just a little spot in the yard near nature but close to the landlords house. Ideal for tenting for a night and close by to a lake just down the road! Bring your atvs for the nature trail across the path. Or settle in by a fire and attend morning yoga class $10 per person! Enjoy the peaceful quiet, birds and the butterflies and wild flowers. Definitely being warm clothes and bug spray. This is a pretty basic spot but does have access to an atv trail across the way and the Pocomoonshine Lake just a few minutes down the road! The wildflowers are in bloom with a huge field, and can provide an area for a fire in the evening. There is a small space initially to get in to the backyard if coming with a camper van but should be all good to get settled quickly. There are some sights to see in the Calais area including devils head nature trail, and the Alexander Indian art walk also just up the road for a shorter adventure and a little history! Upon request I offer group yoga classes which will occur at about 8:00am. Feel free to take a swim in the lake and enjoy an early sunrise. If you bring pets please be cautious of other pet owners, almost everyone has a dog on this road. Also be aware this is secluded in nature and there are definitely deer around, and other animals. Do not forget bugspray to ensure a good time outdoors! There are no shortage of bugs here. Thanks again and looking forward to hosting your stay in a nature getaway.
