My boyfriend and I loved staying here! We camped here for 2 nights in our rooftop tent, and it was fun to wake up to all of the animals. The pig, the dogs, the mule, donkey, horses… the whole lot! All sweet, beautiful creatures. Sharessa was also super cool and easygoing, and introduced us to all her lovely farm friends and was so welcoming for the time we spent roaming around. Highly recommend :)

Had a great time at this spot! Got to hold a baby goat (ahhh!) and meet all the animals :-) Sharessa was super accommodating and gave us a tour of the farm. Highly recommend!

The Bellwether Farmstead
Amazing place to stay. Very quiet, dark skies for good star viewing, gentle and approachable farm animals and gracious hosts. Close enough to New Orleans if you wanted to visit there.

The Bellwether Homestead was an incredible spot! It is a very spacious and comfortable space. We loved meeting all of the farm animals, making a campfire at night, eating fresh farm eggs in the morning. The firewood and eggs for sale were very convenient and inexpensive. Shareesa was very friendly and was happy to give us a tour around her property. We have been recommending this place to friends since we’ve returned from our trip, and are excited to return!

this was my first ever stay through hipcamp, and i had such a nice introduction to the service with my stay at Bellweather. Sharessa was informative and friendly! i was able to pitch and access the facilities with no issues. Sharessa was able to give me a dinner recommendation as well as a suggestion for some entertainment going on that evening! i had a great night staying here.

What a wonderful place to camp for 2 nights! The grassy meadow under tall, graceful trees was lovely! This well kept farm had a variety of animals - chickens, goats, sheep, a cow, a donkey, a couple of horses, a pig and even two baby emus! Sharessa, the host, was helpful but not overbearing. I highly recommend this off the beaten track well maintained farm in a beautiful setting!

Although we could not be able to make it Seressa property due to a major inconvenience in our. The communication with host was great and even tried to work with us in our arrival time even as we kept pushing our arrival to very late at night. A great property it is nothing without a great host, just like a nice restaurant without a good chef. Thank you for looking out for us as we tried to make it

Bellwether Farmstead was the perfect escape from the city we needed! We were able to find a lovely spot to camp with our two kids, enjoy a fire, and see the stars. Our oldest daughter also loved the zip line and swing. We enjoyed meeting the animals and touring the property. All together it was a great getaway!

Easy to find, well laid out, clean camping space and the most immaculate outhouse we’ve ever experienced! Lots of great animals around the farm, and the tour guide around the property is a rockstar! My girls wanted to just hang out with her. We loved sitting by the fire, counting the stars, listening to the animals, and watching the lightening bugs do their thing. We have ZERO hesitation about coming back, and we shall be recommending a visit to some family members.

Nice campsite in front of large family property. We drove to the Anita brewhouse about half an hour away and had a great time there for dinner.

Boy, did the weather not cooperate for us. We spent the night at the Farmstead during torrential thunderstorms, but the tent held up well. The farm is lovely. We were greeted by a llama in the morning. She kept a safe distance, but she was a beauty. Beautiful land. Nice outhouse. Great location.

This farm is fantastic! The property is very clean, beutiful, and inspires a tranquil state of mind. Freindly farm animals are around every corner, waiting to be pet and hand fed wild clovers!
The owners are helpful and very nice, they sucsesfuly created a homey, cottage core dream land. 10/10 i will definateky be back!

It was great staying at Bellweather!
I highly recommend them. Their farm is really a nice place. The animals are fun to have around to watch. Their property is large & we had privacy. There’s a big fire ring and a tire swing. My granddaughter had so much fun befriending their dogs and running all over. She & I were both so tired after fun days. It’s quiet & we slept great.

Did a weekend stay here with my 7 year old daughter. Beautiful property and very kind people! We chose a tent camping spot right near all of the animals and loved being able to wake up and be greeted by the mule, donkey, goats, sheeps, pig, llama, and horses. The outhouse was very clean and easy access to running water (water hose or an outside sink). Would definitely recommend The Bellwether Farmstead and would love to camp there again!

Sharessa has a beautiful place and I really enjoyed spending time with them and their animals. The hosts were very friendly, the compost toilet was clean and comfortable, the land is absolutely beautiful in the middle of horse country and I would definitely stay there again.

The property is beautiful and we loooooved all the sweet animals. Millie the pig was a hit at our campsite.
The host family were quick to respond and meet all our needs and even let the kids help with the animals:)

Super cute farmstead in Folsom. Very little light pollution, so excellent star gazing during our New Moon weekend trip. Adorable outhouse & potable water available.
