We had a beautiful time here! The animals were such a treat, particularly Uhtred the big fluffy Pyrenees and Figgy Pudding the little pig. Our campsite was by the water, which was lovely. The worker dogs came and checked on us overnight and even slept outside our tent for awhile. Overall, we loved staying here and would stay again next time we’re in town!
Amazing experience. My wife and two kids stayed in a yurt with ample room and the A/C made it all the more relaxing. As we cooked over a campfire, a camp cat and two dogs visited and hung with us. The next morning we visited all the animals: turkeys, horses, pigs, goats, peacocks, ducks, etc. etc. Perhaps the friendliest place I've been to in over five years of Hipcamp. This place is a treasure.
The area is well maintained, quiet times are 9pm-8am which is very nice, and the hosts are friendly and accommodating. It's a very safe place to camp with young children.
Absolutely amazing! Ocean was a great host and welcoming. The animals were so adorable and fantastic to watch. Going to sleep and waking up to all the beautiful sounds of nature and life was the best part. Wish we could have stayed longer! We will definitely stay again when in the area❤️
The camping is okay- there are a couple of spots near a pond or away from it- but what really makes this one special is all the life. There are so many animals walking free- dogs, cats, goats, horses, Guinea fowl peacocks... And that's just the start. This place has such life and such a good vibe.
Such a peaceful little stay! Alyssa and Ocean were such calm and welcoming hosts. Love how easy and chill the stay was, and also loved the opportunity to hold some baby goats!!
I arrived late so did not get to walk around and enjoy the animals and had to get an early start in the morning. This is my 3rd visit and having a full bathroom available is a bonus. I just really enjoy the tranquility and being around animals so I definitely will be back
We got there later than expected to camp and were about to have to cook in the dark after setting up the tents- not ideal. The hosts were very friendly and so acommodating that they shared some food they had leftover from a big party that day. We were so grateful and the location was so cool! I really want to go back and spend more time with all of the different animals! My friends and I won't forget this stop :)
Just amazing trip! Everything was perfect and easily accessible. Our kids had an amazing time exploring the property and being around all the animals. Definitely coming back!
What a great visit! Lots of space- we received a warm welcome and found so many interesting animals/creatures beautifully co-existing. This was a quick visit- so I hope we’ll have a chance to get back.
We only stopped for the night, but we wish we had the time to stay longer! It was so nice and relaxing! We loved that when we woke up there was a horse out our window. If we are ever in the area again we will try to stay again!!
It was very difficult to get a hold of the host (I had to message her multiple times via phone, text, and the platform to finally get a hold of her).
There was animal feces EVERYWHERE. Being on a farm, I was expecting some, but it was a lot when it was even on the deck and the playgound. Also they say there's free coffee -- but the coffee pot has mold growing in it, so that should probably be thrown away.
If you're just looking for a place to pull in for the night, it's indeed a place to park. But if you're looking for a sanitary place, this is not the one.
I loved walking around this property and camping next to the pond. (I saw the alligator!) Listening to the frogs and birds; seeing the goats, peacocks, emu, turkey, pigs, horses and chickens!
Loved camping at this location. Lots of animals which makes it a unique experience. They have a shower/bathroom for cleaning up. Pet and family friendly. We really enjoyed our stay!
i love this spot!! amazing hosts that really make sure you feel content and comfortable during your stay. would recommend to anyone. it’s an experience that’ll do good for your soul!
My daughter loved all the animals. Especially the baby pig and goat. She has a kind heart and appreciated the family caring for the blind dalmatian and Harry Potter who has terminal cancer but appeared very much alive and active on their farm. We appreciated Alyssa's very informative nature walk. We enjoyed our very egg selection. Best wishes from our family to yours. Someday I would love to own a piece of land like yours
We loved staying in Alyssa’s campground. There was plenty of space and the outhouse / bathroom was super clean / well kept. Alyssa and her partner were super welcoming and the animals are definitely an experience !
We loved this spot. Hosts were a nice family with a beautiful piece of land. We loved the animals and spent almost all of our time outside. Anytime we pass through that area, we’ll stay again.
A truly wonderful place to spend a couple of days and even more if you have the time! An oasis by the pond. So many friendly animals to enjoy, pet and watch their antics. Highly recommend!!! Piper (the baby goat), Figgyduff (2 week old piglet) and Wobbles (the tiny dog amongst the giants). Wonderful hosts to both people and animals alike (they just took in a Great Dane and are providing hospice care for her❤️)
Jocelyne
A really beautiful place doing amazing things for animals that have been mistreated to or abandoned. Cannot recommend this place enough if you’re an animal lover and are really looking to get back to a real off the beat vibe.
We loved camping at Snow White Sanctuary! We were able to get the one 50 amp spot, filled our fresh water tank & was able to use our camper bathroom, but hubby used the shower on site and said it was clean, had great water pressure and hot water! Our daughter loved exploring the land with friends she made while there and we were always at ease knowing she was safe to venture off. The animals free roaming was so cool. Only down fall to that is mostly the horse manure scattered about, we had to clean our camp site of manure before we could park our RV and the common area by fire pit & playground could use a daily poop patrol in my opinion but otherwise awesome stay! Owners are very welcoming and let the kids help with feeding the animals! We tried the homemade goat milk ice cream and highly recommend it!!! We will definitely go back to camp there again!! Even when there were several campers it still did not feel crowded!! As long as you love farm life you will love your stay here!!!
