Majestic Mountain Cave site is at the center of the property and has its own private waterfall. This is a family friendly site with a one of a kind stay in a private cave. It is set up with an 11x13 tent platform with picnic table, benches and fire ring. We have added a 250 gallon rain water collection tank for your water needs. We cannot guarantee the amount of water you will have at any point in the year; but you are welcome to use as needed. You would need to filter the water with devices such as a carbon filter straw before drinking it. You also have the water from the waterfall that runs all year long. You can drive right up to this camp site with a 4 wheel drive car. A 2-wheel drive vehicle will make it most of the way and then there would be a short walk to the site. Once you arrive at the site, there is a short incline to get down to the cave (see pics). This site would not be wheel chair accessible like the other sites. The pictures do not do this site service. The cave shines as if it were covered in gold and the temperature is always cooler in there. You will love the peace you find here.

This campsite offers a unique and secluded experience, perfect for those who enjoy a rustic setting. Many campers appreciated the peaceful and private surroundings, with some highlighting the added charm of a cave to explore. While the site provides a great escape into nature, a few reviews mention maintenance issues and challenges with access, especially after rain. Overall, it's a place that promises tranquility and the chance to disconnect, with a responsive host who enhances the experience.
Beautiful views surrounded by nothing but nature. The sound the wind made rustling through the trees was so grounding. It was a great first camping trip with my reactive dog!
The site was remote (which was great), but not maintained very well. It appears that at one time, these sites were gorgeous. Directions were fine but what should have been emphasized is to NEVER drive down to the lower site. The hill is steep and not properly groomed for anything but an ATV. We did not have that and, because of an overnight rain, we paid the price! Very nice location but be prepared for seriously rugged camping.
Had an unfortunate situation happen, site wasnt quite as expected due to past campers, but the host was very gracious and kind, and gave great communication and customer service. Would come back !!
Gotta be the most unique camping experience I’ve ever had, the cave is much bigger than it in the photos. Not buggy, the only thing I’d say is bringing stuff down was a bit difficult but not too bad. Really enjoyed my time here.
Sunrise ridge campsite was peaceful and quiet. Definitely felt alone with plenty of privacy. Only issue was the tent platform was missing a board and the picnic table was knocked over. Not a big issue if you are used to primitive camping. Plenty of shade and room to explore. Make sure you bring plenty of high quality tick repellent. We had several on us the moment we walked from the truck to set up camp. But once we got our spray out and treated our gear those little buggers stayed away.
This was one of my favorite spots I’ve camped! The cave and the land were secluded and peaceful- the sounds of the stream made for a great sleep. I definitely will be coming back here sometime
Magical and cozy camping spot. Quiet and private. Beautiful land. Adventured and saw some cool rock formations and smaller caves. Took the pup with us. We had the best time. Camping in the cave was an awesome experience. Loved every moment and made precious memories. Thank you !
Very peaceful and private. The stars in the sky above the trees was a pretty mellow feeling. Something happened during a storm I would imagine and host quickly got back with me about grabbing another site (completely out of their control). I’d stay again for sure. Plan on it matter of fact. Maybe check out that cave spot!
I was curious about this cave for a long time! Beautiful scenery all around! The stream was flowing pretty well as it is spring. I would recommend bringing rubber boots and packing light since the trail into the cave is quite steep. The host is very helpful and responsive too!
Super cool cave off the beaten path. Quiet area, expansive wooded area. Water flows near the entrance to the cave - pretty cool. Nice platform to set tents up on. Functions well as a camp shelter during rain, but can become smoky with a fire going. Cool Hipcamp, would stay again!
This is a very quiet and peaceful place. The only thing near the campsite is a small house being built away in the trees. I’m going back this weekend with my sister and partner, the sunrise campsite is beautiful and we want to stay at the cave campsite when it’s warmer out. They have been very nice as my first visit I booked the wrong campsite and they corrected it with no fuss. 10/10 recommended.
Very pretty place unfortunately did not get to explore much as I was only in town for 1 day and it was storming most of the time. Host very responsive and helped with navigation.
