Starting at $65 per night for four guests, with the ability to accommodate up to six guests for an additional $10 per night per guest. A $50 refundable cash deposit is required at check-in. Please note: the cabin does not have water, but there is a bathhouse located near the office. Bedding is not provided, so please bring your own sleeping bags, sheets, blankets, and pillows. Welcome to Papa’s Lodge, a spacious cabin nestled just 20 yards inside the woods, boasting some of the best views in the park. This large cabin is equipped to accommodate up to 16 guests comfortably, making it ideal for larger groups and families. Sleeping arrangements include a queen bed, a double futon, and a pull-out sofa couch downstairs. There are 4 queen beds upstairs in the loft area. The open floor plan is perfectly suited for gatherings, complemented by a small kitchen area that includes food storage and preparation spaces, a 4.5 cu. ft. fridge/freezer, a built-in electric stovetop, coffee pot, and microwave. While the cabin does not have water, it does feature both heating and air conditioning to ensure comfort throughout the year. Starting at $90 per night for 4 guests, with each additional guest costing $12 per night up to 16 guests, Papa's Lodge offers a great value for both short and extended stays. Super easy for a late night check in and early morning check out! Stopped through on my drive to Michigan and had a great, short stay. Bathrooms, parking and office were a short walk from Paige’s cabin which I was thankful for in the dark. Overall felt safe and quiet! Cabin also had AC which was a bonus!

I loved camping at the cabin. It had a nice theme and the beds were comfortable. The trails around are pretty nice too and it's located near the Creation Museum. I would probably put the A/C unit at the top of the ladder since it was too hot to sleep up there at night.

Cute rustic cabin in the woods. A short walk to the parking area we carried our supplies through the stone path. Comfortable beds and AC!! Was great for a family camp out. The maintenance guy made sure we had everything we needed. He delivered firewood and fishing poles to us! Highly recommend!!

From Festival to Fireside

We needed a place to stay last minute while attending a music festival in Lexington, but with no hotels available, we decided to camp instead. Stumbling upon Three Springs Campground in Sadieville (which happens to be my daughter's name-it was fate, we had to stay!) It turned out to be an unexpected highlight of our trip. The campground offers primitive tent camping for $50 a night, but for just $10 more, they have rustic cabins that were the perfect blend of comfort and simplicity. The cabin had heat, air conditioning, electricity, a microwave, a Keurig coffee maker, and plates, making it incredibly convenient. There was outside seating and a fire pit. While there was no bathroom inside the cabin, the bathhouse was just 75-100 feet away, and there was Wi-Fi and no TV. After the festival, we built a fire and spent most of the night simply enjoying each other’s company—me, my husband, and our daughter, Sadie. It was the perfect way to wind down, surrounded by nature and the peaceful atmosphere of the campground. Whether you’re looking for secluded, rustic tent camping or a budget-friendly cabin stay, Three Springs Campground is a great option near Lexington. Highly recommend for anyone attending an event nearby or just wanting a tranquil getaway!

Granna's Place
We stayed at Grannas place and honestly it was unnerving being less than 5 feet from the road. Lots of loud traffic throughout the night from even park residents that drove way too fast. The cabin was cute and cozy mostly. The mattress were less than desirable. We stacked 2 on top of each other which helped. But everyone was friendly that we met and the staff were good as well

A cute, super clean campground. And we loved the shower heads!! Every corner of the cabin, bathrooms and showers were clean of cobwebs! I am glad to see they are investing in fixing some of the campsites. It was very easy to find, just off the highway but far enough back to be super quiet. We will stop again when visiting family in Lexington.

Good location to the Ark Encounter

We stayed two nights on site B5. You share the water spigot with site B6. Also share the two 30 Amp plugs on the post with site B6. Tripped their breaker twice with Heat Pump and microwave going. Good location to stay if visiting the Ark Encounter. They appear to be making upgrades to the spaces in the park. Was probably a really good place back in the day. They appear to be filling in the old pool. It had rained a lot before we got there and so there was some mud in places. Most sites were on gravel. Had hiking trails, but they needed some clearing. Not a terrible place, but $55 plus taxes and Hip Camp fees ended up at about $70 a night. Somewhat overpriced I think. I don’t see me needing to camp in this area again anytime soon, but would probably stay if the “all in charges” didn’t exceed $55.
