Highly recommend. Our host Scott was great at communicating and the accomodations was exactly what my wife and I wanted. If you're looking for peace and quiet this is the spot. Looking forward to a return trip.

Cozy little retreat. Took our toddler out on the pond in the pedal boat and she adored it. We didn't get to utilize the fire pit area, but were able to watch some baby birds leave their nest and learn to fly from the comfort of the porch. Wife has already suggested to make it an annual trip.

The view was beautiful. The cabin was spotless. Scot was quick to respond to questions. Him and his wife are incredibly nice people. My favorite part of the stay was feeding the farm animals. I would highly recommend this cabin to others.

“Hut” is a misnomer…the cabin is small but has lovely finishings. The kitchen is beautiful with nicer appliances. The bathroom has a beautiful step in shower. The bed was comfy. For us, the best part was the porch overlooking the lake…we watched birds, fish and otters until late at night.
The entire area is beautiful! We were able to interact with the livestock (our choice not required) and it was so much fun. There is a canoe and a paddle boat but we were unable to use them this trip. We are hoping for another trip soon.

What a cool place WITH the coolest hosts ever! I got my van stuck in the mud and the host drove his tractor down to pull me out! I was ever so grateful. I would definitely stay here again!

This is a fantastic spot to stay! The property is beautiful, tranquil, and accessible. Everything in the cabin is clean, organized, and well-decorated. I highly recommend this place to anyone searching for some peace away from the city. Scott is a great host as well. He’s very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. Make sure to try his delicious honey too!

This trip was so peaceful. We loved this little cabin. The lake was quite considerably low, so we did not swim or brave the canoe. Our dog however did - which was a bit of a muddy catastrophe. Luckily there was a little family half a mile away that sold homemade dog shampoo and were kind enough to allow us to swing by.
We fully plan to revisit again. This was a deep peace we were looking for. We loved the enclosed porch with the rocking chairs. And so many hummingbirds! This was a lovely excursion.

Scott was an absolutely amazing host. My husband, adult daughter, golden retriever puppy and I absolutely loved our short stay. Everything in the cabin was top notch. The gilding rockers and gas grill on the back deck overlooking the pond were so relaxing. Our puppy loved swimming in the pond so much.

We had a wonderful weekend visit at The Honey Hut. For starters, the property and cabin are both beautiful and well-maintained. Scott and Kim did the most to show us hospitality at its finest, giving us a tour of the bee hives and their farm.
We enjoyed learning about the bee colonies, picking fresh fruit, feeding the animals, and boating/fishing on the pond. We caught several bluegill and a few bass to top it off!
Highly recommend this quaint and cozy cabin to get away from the city or just enjoy some refreshing time in nature. We will be back, hopefully soon!

The cabin has everything you need for a relaxing stay. We only stayed one night as a break from a long drive, but wish we could have stayed longer. The kids loved the canoe, paddle boat, and fishing. The deck was a great place for morning coffee! Very clean and comfortable

Beautiful cabin, peaceful setting and friendly hosts! We saw deer, rabbits, loads of birds, and friendly visiting dogs :) We loved getting to see the bee hives and talk with Scott about beekeeping.

The cabin is very well appointed with tasteful decor and overlooking the pond with dock, canoe, SUPs and paddle boat. The bullfrogs at night are hilarious and the night sky just beautiful. Love the honey farm - we will be back again and again.

We had an amazing time! Lovely, comfy house, beautiful land, super responsive and accommodating host! Scott even let us hike around his additional land. So nice to be able to bring our pup on our adventure. Would love to come back & would recommend to anyone!

Really nice quiet property with lots of animals both wild and farm. It can be pretty vocal at times! Very nice cabin with all the amenities. Hosts were nearby but not overly attentive- perfect! Highly recommend going for sunrise walks around the roadways in the morning. We never saw a car but took in lots of gorgeous sunrise views and then watched sunsets over the pond.

Lovely little cabin with a beautiful covered deck, newer fishing/sunning dock and complimentary canoe , paddle boat and SUP’s for guest use. Scott came by and welcomed us and took us on tour of the property. Large kitchen and comfortable leather sofa and recliner. Really a gem for a weekend getaway!

The Honey Hut is the perfect place for a getaway. The cabin was extra nice with every amenity we could ever want. The beautiful peaceful pond and surrounding land was a favorite of my granddaughter, daughter and I! Scott's bee tour was very educational and fun. We got to visit Kim & Scott's farm animals and Tegan was invited to help Kim feed the horses! Thank you both for your hospitality, honey & sharing your beautiful cabin & land with others.

Had a wonderfully relaxing stay at The Honey Hut. The cabin was clean, and very comfortable. We felt right at home as soon as we walked in the door. We really enjoyed using the paddle boards on the pond and walking through the beautiful wildflower garden. Scott and Kim were fantastic hosts. We look forward to coming back!

This was our 2nd stay at Honey Hut and we will continue to come back! It’s the perfect staycation spot, just far enough away to unplug from all the noise. The pond is so beautiful & we love the view from the deck. The kids love fishing, paddle boards and the canoe. We love the open concept cabin and firepit. Very well maintained, rustic but stylish …. Small but very well laid out. Love it!

Cottage is cute, clean and comfortable. If you like birds, frogs and crickets to serenade you by day and night while walking around the flower meadow, canoeing on the pond, hanging round the fire pit or relaxing on the covered porch overlooking the pond- this is the place. Extremely peaceful and private, but if you feel the need to plug in to the outside world they have wifi and Netflix etc... Great area for star-gazing. Furnishings were comfortable. Bed is on the softer side. AC & ceiling fans work great and are quiet. Our family of 3 + dog had a lovely, relaxing stay in early June. Scott is a super nice host and we were invited to help feed the horses, burro and pig. HIs dog (yellow lab) is a sweetheart and a charming greeter that will likely drop by! Use of watercraft and firewood on property was a plus - no hauling needed. Very relaxing. If I had to add something to my wishlist it would be more games.
