This was my second stay at the lakehouse. We love it so much! It’s perfect for our little family. We swam with our pups, fished, and spent some time on the gorgeous wrap around porch. It was as quiet and relaxing. We can’t wait to go back!

This is the best Hipcamp on the entire app hands down. It is private, perfect for pets, the hosts are always courteous, fast, & efficient yet still manage to give you complete privacy. Good fishing, cozy cabin with great A/C, & beautiful sunsets. I have stayed here for group camping trips for work, a bachelorette party, a weekend with friends, and an anniversary. It is truly a gem & great for all occasions.

Once again, my stay on this Hipcamp far exceeded my expectations. My wife and I stayed for 7 days and it was nothing short of spectacular. Our dogs had the time of their lives and so did we. Bridgett is a wonderful host who is very easy to communicate with. I chose this location for my first solo camping trip in 40 years. It was incredibly safe, welcoming, and the sites are private with beautiful views. Bridgett has a gorgeous property perfect for experiencing nature. I plan to return and enjoy this great location again.

We love spending time at the Harrican Lakehouse. It has become our escape each summer when we just unwind, relax, and enjoy nature while still having amenities.
We enjoyed the kayaks, fishing, and just listening to the birds and frogs.
Bridgett kept us informed when we had a power outage due to storms. It was still just as peaceful.
We will definitely be back again next summer.

Wow what to say about this lake house, truly felt like a vacation. Swimming, kayaking, watching birds on the wrap around porch. You won’t regret staying here and I plan to come back again soon to share this beautiful spot with my friends and family. Loved my stay! Thanks Bridgett!

Absolutely the most peaceful place you could choose to stay! Our family of 8 and 2 dogs stayed comfortably! I read all the comments before coming so made sure we had extra toilet paper, paper towels etc...although there's no doubt in my mind our host would've gotten us some if needed! The only thing I didnt see in comments was about the steep stairs in the house. This is in no way a complaint...just for others who may have mobility issues. The beds are upstairs, so if someone couldn't get upstairs...other arrangements for sleep would need to be made (air mattress or the couch).
Our kids spent the weekend swimming and fishing! And we're so tired by the end of the night from all the fun, they didnt even care there was no TV.
Bridgett was great at communicating and absolutely the sweetest! Thank you again so much!

Comfortable cabin with power and a good running ac unit. Fire pit for evening campfires, and a general cozy secluded vibe. My 12 and 5 year old had a blast running around the site, and playing in the pond. Definitely would recommend.

Really great private camping area. Make sure to take the trail to the river! Bridgette was such a great host and helped us with everything we needed. Highly recommend. I will mention she does have dogs that run the property, they are friendly but they will walk into your campsite. Just a friendly warning if you have dogs of your own or children :)

Tent camping on Bridgett’s land was fun! Unfortunately did not have enough time to explore the trail, in addition, the trail wasn’t clear or easy to spot. The outdoor shower was an interesting experience as was the hammock house! Definitely enjoyed my stay there

Amazing stay! Bridgett was a wonderful host! We especially enjoyed the wrap-around covered deck and outdoor sectional seating. The kids really had a blast fishing from the dock, and loved the kayaks. Would highly recommend for those looking for a peaceful getaway. Thank you for sharing your little slice of heaven with our family!

This was my second visit, and I was planning my third before even leaving! We absolutely love this spot! Plenty of privacy, it’s romantic but could also be kid friendly if needed. The house is decorated so nicely! The a/c works amazing!

Beautiful property and great hosts. Outhouse was clean and comfortable. Great location close to ton of hiking and adventuring options. Also, the pinball arcade in Corbin is close by and worth a visit. Look forward to staying again soon!

Warning: Be prepared to be AMAZED by the property that surrounds the lakehouse!!! My friends and I had a WONDERFUL time! Bridgett is very sweet and personable. The house is decorated beautifully and the outdoor area is perfect for hanging out for the duration of your trip!!! Bridgett's Lakehouse was amazing! We loved everything about it. We were able to hike, find a water fall, enjoy some campfires, fish, and plenty of family time. The lakehouse was very cozy and perfect for our family of four (plus our dog). My kids definitely didn't want to leave after 2 days there. Would highly recommend visiting! Hopefully we'll be able to return in the summer sometime when we can go swim in the lake!

Bridgett's land was just perfect. Lots of privacy, great pond and the house is just what we needed. The house is small but the wrap around porch gives you all the space you need to hang out and relax.
You will not want to leave! Bring extra towels and tp!

Bridgett was sooo kind! This place was absolutely beautiful and worth the drive out there! I'm so glad I booked this property, plus they were so accommodating for what I needed. One of the nights, the sky was absolutely stunning with stars and I woke up to a gorgeous sunrise! Highly recommend coming here! I also got to take a peek at the lake house, and that is gorgeous too! You can go wrong by booking here! I definitely plan to come back with friends!!🥰🥰

Such a quaint and lovely place. We were caught up in a rainstorm there, but the rain pattering on the tin rooftop sounded so nice. Got up early to watch the non-sunrise (too many clouds). From about 6:30 AM to 7:15 AM there was total silence until a Carolina wren started calling. Watched salamanders swimming in the turquoise colored water. Our 18 month old dog loved the freedom and took laps around the pond. It was a heartwarming time.

Very peaceful! Expect to disconnect! Limited cell service and no TV. Access to multiple trails within the Daniel Boone National Park nearby. We enjoyed an amazing sunrise and had the benefit of drinking our coffee on the wrap around porch. If you are looking for a place to eat, I highly recommend Habanero Mexican Grill in London. Large fire pit.

The lakehouse was a perfect quiet Christmas getaway for me and my two little dogs. It feels private but not secluded, and there’s all the basics you need with no fussiness, and it’s so cute. Bridgett was sooo kind and even brought over a plate of Christmas dinner. Even in winter, this spot is so pretty and serene. Super cozy. Would come back.
