Even if you stay just one night to break up travel (as I did), I highly recommend the Art Farm. The spaciousness of the camp was a delight. I arrived at the property around 9 pm, and Laura graciously showed me a secluded site towards the back of the tract. The nearest camper was far away, and though it was mid-November when I stayed, I could still envision seclusion in a busier season. The land was well-maintained, and Laura offers a variety of camping spots. Paducah was also well worth seeing- a lovely town right along the Ohio River with several cool spots! I’ll be back!

Tent Platform in Meditation Woods

I loved camping on Laura's land! Porta-potty, shower, and hot tub are all near the site. It looks quiet, and the view across the field was lovely!

This was a perfect primitive camp for us! The area had plenty of privacy with a beautiful scenery. Early mornings, next to the woods gave a good spot to drink some coffee and watch the wildlife. Easily accessible, and not far from town if you needed to make a quick trip. Communication with Laura was friendly, quick and easy. Definitely saving this spot for our next trip in the area:)

Cute and cozy

The Cozy Cottage

Tho cozy cabin was cozy! The place is lovely and peaceful. I enjoyed the fire pit and the millions of stars! I will be back when I can spend a few days. Laura the host was so friendly and made sure I had everything I needed.

Great weekend trip!

Tanglewood Glamping Tent

My partner & I stayed in the Tack Room at the Ant Farm! We had such a lovely weekend. The room was very clean and comfortable - It had AC, and a fridge that was useful. Laura was very kind, sweet and accommodating. She swapped or stay from the glamping tent to the tack room because there was an issue with the tent. We appreciated the heads up and were very happy with our stay never the less. We loved the farm kitty Callie and taking a dip in the hot tub! There were other guests around during our stay and they were pleasent to be around. We highly reccommend staying here!

Loved staying here! I spent a total of four days in the woods and it was the perfect spot to stay in the evening. I especially loved that the tent area was shaded while the camping pit was just a few feet away under the open sky. I didn’t have a hammock with me, but wished that I did because there were so many great spots to hang it. Having the shower was a blessing as well. It was great to be able to start the morning with a hot rinse.

Beautiful private farm

A truly beautiful location on a privately owned farm. My site was private, clean and comfortable. As a veteran HipCamper, I've come to realize that you're going to have some road noise if you're anywhere close to your travel route. This was no exception, but completely manageable and I was very happy to stay here twice; once in each direction of my journey.

We had a very nice stay at Laura’s farm. We had the pick of where we wanted to set up camp and we chose the Picnic Tree. We took a short walk to take a dip in the hot tub and showered off in the outdoor shower.

The outdoor shower with on demand water heater could have been the best part but we were given a firefly show over the bean field that made it magical! Communication with Laura was efficient and she responded quickly to our questions. Beautiful space.

Tanglewood Glamping Tent

Wow. This is a little magic oasis that just absolutely blew my mind. We stopped here on a road trip completely last minute and Laura was so response and accommodating. We watched the Perseids Meteor shower here and although not a perfectly dark sky we saw over 10 meteors! We also took advantage of a quick dip in the hot tub which was clean and well maintained and used the outdoor shower facilities. The porta-poty was also clean and easy to find, stocked with TP and hand sanitizer. Lauras space is well appointed with all your basic needs and resources. Couple of things we brought that were helpful: - Bug spray! Really. Lots and lots of bugs. We emptied two cans in less than 24hrs. - Towels

Great spot to camp! The shower and hot tub were such lovely additions to the experience. Very peaceful — and the thick grass made a very comfortable surface for my tent/thermarest and sleeping bag. Laura was a great host, very welcoming!

A calm restful welcoming vibe. We had such a great relaxing 2 nights in our camper. Fresh breezes and plenty of shade. Our host, Laura, was wonderful and very sweet to show us around to all the good spots. Thank you so much! Next time we're bringing our friends!

A Quiet Place That Feels Like Home

As soon as I arrived at the Art Farm, I felt like I was at home. It is a good location for those who need electric hookup or wish to boondock. There is a lot of flexibility of where and how to camp and that is what makes it so special. There are also shaded places where you can sit and enjoy the calming sounds of nature or socialize with others. Everything was clean and organized. I particularly enjoyed the sunsets and sunrises across the field which ended and started my day with a sense of peace.

Perfect overnight stop on road trip

Lovely place! The owners were really nice. The land is gorgeous and they had a camp fire set up ready for us to light. We are on the road a lot and this was the perfect place to stay overnight between cities.

It was safe and we only stayed a night driving through. We arrived within the expected time, and the owner wasn't home or answering phone. After about 15 minutes, she finally called and gave us directions to a field a quarter of a mile down the road. It all worked out in the end but inconvenient at the time.

Laura is an absolute GEM! She was so kind and accommodating✨️ She shared with me the perfect spot to set up my tent and enjoy a peaceful evening. My favorite was sitting next to the fire looking out of an open field lighting up with thousands of fireflies. It was pretty magical. The owls offered a nice evening symphony as well! Highly recommend 🌈🌸

Weird vibes, unpleasant interaction

Minimalist Micro Cabin

I was excited to stay here, it looked so cool and had great reviews. The owner was gracious in the pre-arrival communications and even upgraded my reservation. Unfortunately, the place freaked me out. It's basically just someone's back yard, with some run-down sheds that are converted into sleeping shacks. The one that I was "upgraded" to, the Tack Room, is a tiny, smelly room that is part of a large tractor shed. I couldn't stay there, I had the most icky feeling in that room. Also, I needed to use the potty and there were several port-a-potties on the property, but no instructions as to which one to use. The owner was at a party. I just got in my car and drove away.... Later I communicated with the owner to say I left. When I received no response, I reached out again to indicate that I would likely leave a bad review, at which point I finally did receive a response, which was to express shock that I had left and shame me for my intentions to "hurt another human being" (her) by leaving a bad review. She didn't seem to care about the details of my experience. So, I provided the details anyways, waited 24 hours to give her a chance to respond, and when I did not hear back decided to post this to warn other travelers. So here it is, my bad review - I wouldn't stay on this property if you paid me. Everything was dingy, the room smelled bad, the carpet was gross, the decor disturbing, and the owner unpleasant. Grounds are pretty, but not landscaped. 1/10.
