Our second trip to Gavins property. Host communicates well, is proactive and just a genuinely good person. Directions are clear and the property doesn't disappoint. If you're looking for an awesome camp spot that feels secluded, but is 15 minutes away from town...this is the place.

Wildwood Flower!
After having some difficulties with other campsites on Hipcamp, Gavin’s campsite was a lovely little haven. The campsite was private and perfect. Gavin is one of the most considerate and generous hosts I’ve experienced.. Not even 10 minutes had passed and Gavin was already driving down to us to introduce himself and provide us wood for the evening. Great location near Cumberland Falls! Highly recommend.

Wildwood Flower!
Gavins farm provided the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. The location was so close to the lake, making it easy to enjoy the water, if you dont mind a devent hike. It was a private location, which was great for peace and quiet, and the host was super friendly and helpful. Overall, it was an awesome experience, and we can't wait to go back!

Gavin is an excellent host! Can’t express how highly I recommend staying at any of these sites. All three are great. I was able to take a peek at all 3 since no one but me was there. Unfortunately I didn’t get in until late due to traffic, but still enjoyed the set up a lot. Very peaceful and private and the firewood provided was perfect even with it being wet out. The hill coming back out was a little steep so if you plan on bringing a rig, make sure you have 4WD. Ground was solid though even with all the rain. 10/10 Will definitely stay again!

Gavin's property is beautiful and it gave us the perfect spot to kick back and relax for the weekend. All 3 of the sites on his farm are easily accessible by an awd vehicle and have plenty of room to spread out. We stayed at Shady Grove, which was the smaller of the 3 sites, but it was tucked up in the woods and gave us the shade we were looking for during the day. It was so dark out there and the stars really showed off that night and the sunrise through the woods the next morning was stunning. (There was a dog that barked a lot on a neighboring farm, but other than that, we have no complaints!) Gavin stopped by and welcomed us to the property when we arrived. He really does make you feel welcomed on his property and that means so much to us. (Side note: we ended up leaving an expensive piece of equipment behind and Gavin made a special trip to the post office the very next day to make sure we got it back quickly. He really is such a great guy!) He provides a large garbage can with a lid, firewood and starter, fire pit and a picnic table on each site. Seriously, his hospitality is top notch! We'll definitely be coming back!

My fiancé, pup and I had an awesome time in Gavin’s backyard. It felt like we were backcountry camping because it was so secluded. Gavin is by far our favorite host because he is so easy going, quickly messages back, generous and he knows the area well! He had a bunch of firewood set up nicely by our fire pit for free! He gave us a bunch of radishes, mustard lettuce and turnips from his garden! To top it off he also gave us a small propane tank for our portable grill when we ran out!! We went to a bunch of the trails and scenic sites that he told us about and had an overall amazing first trip to KY! Cumberland falls is a must see!!
One of his dogs kept coming to visit us at the site and she stole my heart 🤍 She is just a little sweetie and became best friends with my pup right away. She loved snuggling up next to me while I did yoga in the sun by the pond in the mornings.
Thank you again for everything Gavin!! You’re the best!

We had an awesome time tent camping on Gavin's land! The pond, wildflowers, and surrounding Forrest made for a very nature filled and happy experience. Gavin was a very cheerful and kind host, we would definitely go stay with him again!

Gavin's land was absolutely amazing. There are three beautiful sites, each offering something a little different. I stayed there with my 2 pups and we had the place to ourselves. The dogs had an absolute blast running through the woods and jumping in the pond. When I got there I was welcomed with smiles and awesome vibes. Gavin came down to say "Hi" and said if I needed anything to let him know. He mentioned that the neighbors have a few dogs and if it got too noisy I could move to the site a little further down the road. I decided to stay in the spot I booked but I think next time, I'll pick the site down the road 😀 Unfortunately, I had to leave a couple of days early due to things back home, but I will definitely find my way back there! Absolutely beautiful area and wonderful hosts!

Absolutely breathtaking property! Gavin was a wonderful host. The dogs were angels and the perfect welcoming party!
Would recommend this to anyone who wants a private and cozy campground.
The drive down is a little steep and it had been raining but we didn’t have any issues in our ford transit vans + 10ft trailer. The ground is hard and relatively flat!
Gorgeous property. 10/10 would recommend.

We had a great time at Wildwood Flower! Gavin is a kind and gracious host. We pulled our 20 foot camper down to the site and back up with no issues. Played games while sitting on the picnic table and enjoying the scenery. Easy 30 minute drive to Cumberland Falls State Park. The only unfortunate annoyance was the neighbors incessantly barking dogs, which know is something the host cannot control.

Gavin was a great host. Makes you feel at home. We stayed at Wildwood Flower in our camper. Secluded site , with gravel driveway and pad. Lots of room at site. Couldn't have asked for better. Definitely stay here if in the area. Thanks Gavin!!!!!

Wow! Gavin has such a beautiful property; there’s so much space to stretch out and do our own thing! My partner and I were headed to Cumberland Falls on a whim and it was booked! We found this space and were so grateful we did! We got stuck in the mud after a heavy rain (#vanlife). Gavin devoted his Saturday morning to pulling us out w his awesome truck! He just went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and meet us where we were. He also recommended a stellar spot at Cumberland that was our favorite part of the trip. We probably would’ve missed out on it without his recommendation. We will definitely be back!!

Wildwood Flower!
We stayed for one night with our 2 dogs and it was great! The dogs had lots of room to run and we had a lot of space to set up our tent while still feeling very private. The host was nice and he provided a booklet with very helpful information upon arrival. Would stay again!

The site was wonderful and private, beautiful Fall color!! Picnic table, garbage can and firewood was furnished which was great! We even were able to fish the pond on the property and my hubbs caught a little bluegill. Made for a fun time! The host Gavin is wonderful and kind! We enjoyed our stay.

Such an amazing site. Remote, private and secluded. Gavin was so helpful and interesting.( firewood, kindling and starter all at the site). and so Explained about the land. He even provided a write up about the site and a Google map so if you wanted to get your bearings before taking a hike, very helpful, I went exploring and found a set of caves! The site was clean and The wood burned beautifully. it was just a magical night. I totally recommend A+

I experienced a peaceful getaway in a beautiful, secluded spot, complete with picnic table, fire ring, fire wood, and even a garbage can.. Gavin provided clear directions, well-marked signs, and an easy way to contact him if needs arose. Highly recommend!
