My farm is a family friendly horse boarding and lesson farm. We are unique in that we specialize in recreational riding for all ages. Trail riding is a great way to experience horses and since we camp in all parts of the country we though it made sense to let others pitch a ten here.  We have loads of possibility around the farm to camp.  You can stay close to bathroom and civilization or take a hike to the top of one of our 800 foot hills! Learn more about this land: We have a grassy flat area out behind our barn for tent camping. Parking is within 200 feet from camp site. But adventurous people are able to hike up an 800 foot Hill and camp up on a ridge with a beautiful view of the area. In winter you can see Ohio River.  Possible tent site locations along a large creek. We are a working horse farm first!  So camper space is not always available.  Just depends on hay and horse trailer activity.  Sorry!!We have a grassy flat area out behind our barn for tent camping. Wonderful first camping experience!
We had an amazing first camping trip for my 3-year-old. Anna was a great host and the land was fun to explore.

Should’ve parked in public lot
Waste of money. Paid $35 just to be able to park our car next to a barn. When we arrived, we were greeted by someone other than the host who told us we could just park along the barn. Bad start, but ok - we’re flexible. We have a car with a tent on top so we don’t need much. Then, she showed us the bathroom which was inside the horse barn. It was tiny and dirty. We overlooked it seeing as we knew we could just brush our teeth with the water we had in our water bottles. Finally, the person showed us to the “shower”. We were told before booking that there would be a shower for us. We knew it would be a converted “shower” but weren’t told it was just a garden hose in a cement room. No shower head, no curtain (you’re exposed to the entire front entrance of the barn), floors wet/dirty from washing horses. We were traveling home out of our car, driving long hours each day. We don’t require much, but a shower would have been nice. We brought up concern for both the hose and the lack of curtain, to which the person was also unsure of how we’d be able to use it as a shower. Which is the main reason we had booked here, previously agreed upon with the host. We ended up just going to the nearest Planet Fitness to shower, use the bathroom, etc. Saw a review like this on listing but thought maybe it was just dramatic. It’s the truth. We’ve been using public campsites all week, this was worse. We would have even been ok with paying $15, but $35 could have gotten us a nice, clean campsite.

Horse Farm Camping
Exactly as described
Exactly as described. If you need a low key / no frills place to park in this area with access to a bathroom and power this is a good option. I personally wouldn’t want to tent camp here but in a camper with window covers to block out the barn lights it worked for us. Staff I encountered were friendly and my daughter enjoyed meeting some of the animals.
