I had a great experience. I stayed at Holmes Hideaway site and it was beautiful - on the river with seclusion, fire pits, and plenty of tree cover. I went in mid-november and it was not crowded. Everything done through the app and I was left alone. It was a fun weekend.

Clean quiet and family friendly. Open areas and the river await adventure by all ages. Roving herd of sheep goats, donkey and mini horse add to the whimsy. Steve and his son Bradley are excellent hosts and I will return.

Cool spot a short way down a windy road, and at the bottom you reach the campground. We were able to let our dogs run free with us while the goats were away at work, very fun. Peaceful and quiet, super clean toilet, and great place for kids.

Was greeted by a lovely dark pony on arrival. Was sent off in the morning by a herd of goats and a mule🙂. Site was private and clean

We had a relaxing and enjoyable night in Oakie Dokie. The tents site are very large and private. The "petting zoo" was an interesting neighbor, along with the free range pony aka Little Sebastian".

Steve was an excellent host, he tended to our needs. The campground was very clean. Beautiful surroundings. At night you could see every star in the sky. We had a wonderful experience. Thank You Steve!

We loved the free range animals. I didnt spend a lot of time at the sight, due to being in town for other reasons, but what time I did spend there was peaceful and pleasant. Also, Steve was very quick with responses when I messaged him to ask questions

Steve's camping sites were great!!! Lots of areas to choose from, some right next to the creek! We got in late from a really long drive and he helped us find a spot in the dark. Great location too, as there's a love's about 20 min up the road with showers and laundry. If we're ever back in the area we'll be glad to camp here again :))

It was very clean and upbeat. Steve puts alot of pride in his land. The sites are huge and most are VERY shaded. Our first night there a stray cat took our steak while we went for a walk in North field. She then came back everyday and became our camp kitty. We named her Steak. If your worried like I was about the farm animals coming to your site Steve teys very hard to keep them out of the main part of camp. I talked with Steve for a good hour very nice guy. See ya next year Steve (LOUDER THAN LIFE 2025)

Really awesome sight, it is very country camping. The animals were my one of my favorite things, but if you don't like the smell or droppings of barnyard animals then I would not recommend.
The light pollution at night time is was very low when I visited so the stars were very visible and also a highlight for me.
Steven was a very nice host and was very open to finding ways to better people's stay.
If I had to rack my brain for any complaints it would be maybe adding one or two more porta johns. They were cleaned daily but sometimes had a wait in the mornings as there were a good amount of people saying.
9/10 experience, I will be back for a second stay!

Tent camping at the Hones Pointe Campground was amazing! Plenty of space and everyone was really cool. I would definitely recommend this campground to anyone and I will be returning to camp there myself!

We camped here while attending a music festival so we literally only slept there. I was worried the spots would be difficult to navigate in the dark but they were marked well and the paths (at least what we traveled in) were paved. Our site (Luckys landing) was huge and relatively secluded. My only complaint was the number of dogs aggressively barking well past 2/3 am. I am unsure if they were the dogs of guests or local dogs, but it legit sounded like a constant dog fight. We were so exhausted by the time we got there each night that the dogs were not really a problem for us but may pose an issue for others. We would definitely stay again if we are ever in the area!! Thank you Steve for providing such a great place to camp!!

Absolutely beautiful spot. We had the best view of amazing sunrises each day. Steve was so kind and helpful & the directions using the coordinates took us right to the location. Can’t say enough about the beautiful time we had!

This place is a gem hidden far off the major path. Its clean taken care of and the sites are all great size. The owner told us a story of how this place started with him and his two buddies whom have both passed. He is now keeping this place alive in the memory of his 2 old friends. Come relax and get away. River was completely dry but there is a drought so that's understandable. Palmers party cove was a great site where myself and 5 others stayed for Louder than Life and it was an amazing decision. Try it you wont regret it. Ohh and check out the stars in north field. Breath taking.

We loved our time there. Steve was very kind and helpful. I haven’t played badminton in years so it was very nostalgic. The kids wanted to go back as soon as we had left. Definitely would recommend to anyone!!

We were tent camping and arrived at dusk (late!). We were greeted by the owners and here able to quickly find a level site. There was a good fire ring, grill with utensils and fresh trash can. Next day we were able to walk around and visit the other areas - lots of different camping areas! Great wide play area for kids, horseshoes, pavilion area…but we missed the stream running in the midst of this drought. We will stay there again and recommend to others!

My husband, myself, and our adult son went camping at Hones point campground. We had a blast. Loved the free roaming animals. The campground was well kept and Steve was great. Hiking trails are super nice. We will definitely camp there again.
