Walter's Barnyard RV Site
The property was absolutely gorgeous. Beautiful sunsets. Rolling green fields. You will probably be visited by some cattle as they wander and graze, along with an adorable herd of little goats. The drive way is long, winding and hilly but worth it to get back at the edge of the open fields. The hosts were very sweet and accommodating. I wish we could have stayed longer!

Very peaceful, quiet stay. Nobody ever bothered me. Beautiful sunsets. Silent nights. Good power and water. No septic at site, but they were up front about that. Would absolute stay again!

We loved staying at Haymark, it was such a gorgeous property, private, and having the roof was fabulous since the weather was less than perfect. Great communication from Melinda. We were able to really relax here. My 2 dogs loved it.

Was a very responsive host for this HipCamp. Quit response and details. The site was peaceful and quite with beautiful views! A relaxing experience with the amenities we needed such as 50amp electric and water available.
Harley (our dog) also loved the off leash opportunity to run:)

Serenity at last. Lovely large farm with lots of rolling hills to hike while watching the cows and goats. Very peaceful and quiet site with water and electricity at your fingertips. Black tank dump just a short drive down a farm lane. Host Mark was very nice and awesome while answering our questions about his working hay farm. Ohio River just a 30 minute drive where you'll find even more to do and see like visiting Old Washington where Simone Kenton spent time. For sure would stay again.

We loved staying at the RV Barn site. It was a little tight getting our 40’ fifth wheel in and out but we made it work. The farm and site were beautiful and very relaxing. We would definitely stay here again!

We loved having our 32 ft, class A motor coach at Haymark Farm! It’s the most serine spot we’ve had the joy of renting & will truly miss the view, farm animals , and wildlife.

Mark & Melinda are wonderful hosts! We had full hookups under a huge awning with water, sewer and 50 amps of electricity. The sight is half a mile from the main road - secluded and beautiful, but close to several small, rural communities where shopping can be done. Exploring the property has been fun! There are ponds for fishing, a stream, farm animals and deer.

Excellent experience in all aspects of our stay. Would 200% recommend staying here. Owner Mark was great, super helpful and friendly. And Amy the site manager was the same. Absolutely beautiful property, rolling hills, horses donkeys cows and goats. Amazing sunsets! Plenty of space and privacy. We initially booked it for 5 days but extended our stay by a month.

Quiet and peaceful. Workers were just finishing baling hay when we arrived, and then it was quiet the rest of the night. We loved all the open space and not having other campers beside us.

The setting is very picturesque and remote with views of pastures and cows in the distance. Site sits next to a metal hay barn. We had a little challenge finding a level spot near the utilities but we managed with leveling blocks. Our other option was on the edge of the dirt road and we weren’t sure if any farm machinery would need to get by in the AM. Communication was quick and concise. No personal contact was ever made with anyone but it wasn’t necessary. Amy handled our check in a few day before by text and was available if we needed anything. A fire pit with a supply of wood and kindling was very enjoyable. Water and electric at such a remote spot was nice. My only recommendation would be to level out a site a bit. We would stay here again if we were passing thru.

Walter's Barnyard RV Site
The Walter Barnyard RV site is a phenomenal area to set up camp if you're looking for privacy, beautiful views, and exceptional hosts. The site is easy to access regardless of your traveling accommodations, and provides everything you might need to feel like you're on your own private home farm. Mark and Melinda were exceptionally helpful hosts in getting us acclimated to the property, and their friendly help around the farm are always willing to provide any/all assistance you could possibly need. Mark and Cody have refinished stalls in the barn that is located 50ft from the RV hookup and we have been able to board 2 horses and 2 goats with all the ease you could ever want. There are also 3 separate possibilities for pasturing situation (2 of which we have used) which provide ample room for our animals to be let out all day long to enjoy not being cooped in a stall. If you are traveling with horse(s), there is every accommodation to set up and ride to your hearts content along the expansive property. The whole set-up, organization, communication and willingness to provide any help has been second to none. Mark and Melinda and their help around the farm is everything you could ask for when looking for a place to stay!
