Harlan County Campground & Cabin Rentals stands out as a family-owned gem, operated by the Foster family, offering a unique blend of comfort and adventure in a picturesque setting. Conveniently situated just ten minutes from both Harlan and Cumberland, we serve as the Putney Trailhead for the Black Mountain Off-Road Adventure Area. Additionally, we are only 9 miles from the new Leatherwood Off-Road Park and one of the closest lodging options to Boone’s Ridge National Tourist Destination. At Harlan Co. Cabins, we provide an exceptional alternative to traditional hotel accommodations. For the cost of two hotel rooms, you can enjoy a spacious 3-bedroom house complete with a full kitchen, living room, and a relaxing hot tub. Currently, we offer eighteen well-appointed cabins, with plans to expand our offerings. Each cabin features a bathroom with a shower, heating and air conditioning, barbecue grills, kitchens or kitchenettes, picnic tables, and fire pits for cozy campfires. Our two-bedroom cabins and larger units come equipped with full kitchens and hot tubs for added comfort. We also cater to RV enthusiasts with hook-up sites and several electric and primitive areas for tent camping.
