Beautiful and open space foe camping. The views, weather and property where better than expected. My boys loved the creek! We typically like to not stay in the same place twice but this might be an exception. Keep in mind this is tick country so come prepared and check often.

I loved tent camping here! The property is gorgeous and so well maintained, and the hospitality is unmatched. I brought my kids here for their first “real” camping trip and we loved every single minute of it- thanks so much for having us!

Nice storage container house. Had everything you would need. Shower was fantastic. We hiked to the creek and explored. We fished in the small pond for some small fish. The games around the storage containers were fun for kids. Great place to visit.

This is a fantastic spot! This was our first time using Hipcamp, and it was such a great experience. Josh was a wonderful host- super friendly, easy to communicate with, and made sure we had everything we needed to get settled in!
My dog also had an absolute blast running around and swimming in the nearby creek. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

Rustic Camper Cabin - Near Ark
We had such a relaxing stay at Handyland. The cabin was so cozy and the stars were absolutely stunning at night. We walked the trails and they are beautiful. Don’t miss them. Josh made sure we had everything we needed. Our dog was able to get some exercise and explore. We all left happy campers and would definitely stay again.

We loved our experience here! Josh was very communicative and helpful any time I had questions. The cabin was clean and well maintained. We stayed on a very cold night and enjoyed using the wood burning stove for heat. The kitchen was well stocked and we had everything we needed.

This place was absolutely amazing! We loved it so much we tried to extend our stay, but it was booked. So we ended up booking Josh's other cabin instead 😂 it was great as well. I really love the little kitchen and bathroom in this cabin. We were traveling with young children and it made all the difference! Plus it was such a unique build that it made it a vacation in and of itself to stay at Handyland! 10 out of 10 would recommend?

Great camp spot in the Northern Kentucky hills. Slept outside under the stars and hiked down to the creek and back up. Beautiful farm with incredible views!

We stayed at the other cabin Handyland has for 3 nights and wanted to extend our stay one more day so we could explore the trails and relax on the land after going and going for 3 days. The other cabin was booked so we booked this one instead. We were not disappointed!!! Honestly, if you can stay at this property in any from, it's worth it! And the trials are a fun and they were easy enough for my young children to navigate.

This was such a cute little camper/cabin, I loved it. It was so peaceful and beautiful here. Josh is an amazing host, great communication. The barn with the pantry and washroom was perfect! Amazing sunsets and sunrises will definitely have me coming back!

Josh’s camper cabin is such a nicely renovated space. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the front porch and then walked down the trail to the pond and creek area with our pup. Josh is very friendly and it was fun hearing about his future plans for the property. It is exactly as described. Would stay here again.

The little cabin was really wonderful. There was a space heater inside the warmed the place up for the chilly night. I spent the night by the fire pit roasting marshmallows and enjoying nature. I saw plenty of wildlife. The bathroom and kitchen area were really nice and well kept. If you're looking for solitude, cabin 1 is probably a little more private (if sitting on the porch cabin one was to the left and the homeowner's house was to the right), but there were these nice little privacy screens on both sides. The hosts were super kind and unobtrusive. I plan on coming back!

The property was great! Everything was as advertised and the setup had mostly everything you could need. Josh was very communicate before and during the trip. I would definitely stay here again.

Josh and his family were awesome hosts. From the moment we arrived, offering us fresh water for our fresh water tank, helping us get our camp set up, to bringing a grill and a fire ring. Oh, and all the firewood we could burn. The land is beautiful with some interesting history. We took advantage of one of the spots with power, next time we will be boon docking(no power, no water, just nature). We will definitely be back soon.

Happyland is the perfect name for this hipcamp location.
The service that you will receive at Happyland is like no other.
If you forgot your grill, Josh will offer to bring you one.
They will stand in the pouring down rain and help you park your rig.
Josh gave is a list of must visits on his land as well as some must visits in the small town nearby for a nice. The service we received was 100 times better than any campground and the view was priceless. We had an amazing experience and can't wait to return.
If you are looking for a place to put a camper or tent in the middle of nowhere and enjoy mother nature, then look no further. Happyland is your stop......you will not regret it.
