The place was very rustic and quiet. There were beautiful hiking trails that ran parallel to a creek. The owners were extremely friendy.

We had a great time exploring the property & were amazed that such a place exists so close to the city. It’s the perfect place if you have an event in Lexington. Creek Peek is a very spacious site and feels secluded despite being just a short walk into the woods. We especially enjoyed the shade and ambiance of the creek!
The bathroom is a plus & the hosts were super friendly. Thank you!!

Always a good stay. Shower is good. We got a nice shaded spot to park in. In the morning we were awakened by blue birds singing and playing in the trees.

Perfect camping location to visit Lexington. Only 15 minutes from Rupp arena, but secluded on a farm. Worth noting that our site in particular was a great option if you do not need power. While the grass was tall during our visit, it was out of the control of the host as Kentucky had non-stop storms for the preceding week. The entire state had tall grass during our visit, so we were not surprised and nothing an outdoor rug didn't solve.
We are only the third review on this particular site (Water with a View) but I would recommend it. It is very private. While the description may give you the impression you are on the road, you are really about 150 yards away. Not only that, there is a bank of trees right by your site giving you privacy. We really didn't even notice the road. There was plenty of space for us (18 ft RV) and the double farm gates makes it very easy to pull in and out.
Truly, if visiting downtown Lexington or catching an event at Rupp Arena, you will not find a better option for camping/RVing.

I had a wonderful stay tent camping on the electrical stage. The shade provided by the roof, flat ground, and three walls surrounding my tent made for a perfect site to set everything up! Having outlets on the walls at this site was a really nice added perk. This hosts land is very nicely maintained, they provided wonderful amenities such as Porta potties, spigot water, a fire pit, an indoor toilet, and a hot water shower. The communication was great. Detailed directions to the property were sent to me before my arrival, and any questions I had were answered clearly and promptly. Given the easy and short 15 minute drive to city and the amazing experience I had while staying here, I will definitely be back again when visiting Lexington!

Truly lovely camping experience Beyond expectations.
We were warmly welcomed and walked to a space that revealed itself as a woodland lovers delight.
The trails, the barn, the birds, the flowing water, and the overall general accommodations made for a weekend escape from the big city that is already calling us back sooner than later.
10/10 Certainly recommend to campers
at heart.

Amazing property! Super close to town and very well kept. Pasture had a small herd of cattle in it and the main grounds were very clean. Super friendly folks who were very accommodating with my camping setup (rooftop tent). Overall highly recommend!

Jenn’s place is the perfect spot if you have activities in Lexington! It’s an easy 6 mile drive to downtown which makes it a great place to enjoy the big city while also relaxing in the country to camp, have a bonfire, and chill from being in the city all day. We will definitely be back:)

Me and my friends stayed here for Railbird and hands down the best decision. Jennifer was very understanding and helpful with getting us set up to tent camp. The site was easy to travel or uber to downtown from.

We had a lovely night all to ourselves on this spacious farm on our drive from Virginia to Colorado . Our dogs loved it! Plenty of games and fun things for kids, including disc golf. We had a couple of questions and the host was very responsive..

We had an amazing stay at Peak Creek Campsite! This primitive campground offers a truly secluded and serene experience, making you feel like you’re deep in the wilderness. Despite other campsites nearby, it was remarkably quiet, adding to the peaceful feeling. The hosts were fantastic, responding quickly and making our stay even better. Highly recommend this gem for anyone seeking a tranquil retreat!

Beautiful property with several spots. We chose to tent camp with electricity in order to work during Friday day and was placed near the stage. We had a wide open space with nice views of the farm. We enjoyed walking the trails. Next time, we will try primitive camping at one of the more private and shady sites. There were a few other campers there which was nice to chat. We were offered the use of the bathroom at the house which worked well for us. Overall, a great stay.

Jennifer’s farm was a perfect place to stay with our class B can. Quiet and peaceful, only 15 minutes from the UK campus, Lexington downtown and easy to get to from the interstate. The site had full 30amp hookup , water and dump. Jennifer was very helpful and went out of her way to make it an easy place to find and stay.

Great place to hang for the weekend. Get some Spalding's donuts and mill around the property for hours. Extremely quiet, we stayed when no one else was in the property so it was perfect. More trails than you'd expect, and an interesting collection of stuff around to pique curiosity. Full hookup pull through site was arranged perfectly, and I only had to raise the right about an inch or 2 to level. It is close to the house (which was vacant when I was there). A few cows hanging around which was cool. Enjoyed our stay, thank you!

Nestled not fat from New Circle Road is a hidden gem! If you want a peaceful camping experience near the city of Lexington you MUST visit this farm.
With a choice of multiple dispersed camping sites, find tranquility in a meadow, unwind in a clearing next to the old barn, or leave your troubles behind in the middle of the woods at Creek Peak; Zen is just a short drive from the action of the city. There are a number of sites and this land is well worth the visit.
We stayed at Creek Peak and it was a lovely, spacious spot, cozy and very private! Be aware that you’ll have to carry your gear in, but it’s a short walk. The land has lots of well marked, easy walking trails. If you’re in the mood to see curious cows, they’re in the pasture.
The hosts are very amenable and offered bathroom access (extra fee). All sites have a fire pit and ours had a small table, a lantern hook, and garbage can.
There are some mild city-type noises that can be heard in the distance. The sound of interstate traffic was light and we, actually, kind of like it - it felt comfortable. There was a small aircraft that flew overhead, once, and, on our last day, we heard what sounded like a short train and, if so, it was obviously not very close by. These sounds were brief and they were not an issue for us, at all,
Overall, this is, now, one of our favorite places and it will probably be our new “go-to” for a quick near-Lexington getaway—highly recommend!
