Jimmy and Donna are very sweet people and very attentive to your needs, if you have any while staying on their property. I decided to check the oil in my jeep and it registered nothing on the dipstick😱 Jimmie offered to drive 30 minutes away to an auto parts store to get me some oil and then 30 minutes back home so that I didn’t have to pay for a tow truck to bring me a oil. That was outrageously nice of him and I thoroughly appreciated it‼️ It was quiet on the property and there are lots of hiking and kayaking nearby. I most certainly would recommend staying at DJs camp😁

Jimmy and Donna are GREAT host! They are concerned that their campers are safe and comfortable. They made it clear we could contact them day or night if we needed anything. They truly care about the people who stay at their property. The property was well maintained and private. You are the only one to camp there when you reserve and Jimmy and Donna provide beautiful outdoor furniture, picnic table, fire pit, and even firewood included in your camping fee. We will definitely stay there again when in the area!

2nd stay at Jimmy and Donna’s property! Just as pleased as the first stay 2 years ago!! Peaceful & Beautiful! I can not tell you enough how attentive they are!! They truly make sure your stay is comfortable and welcoming! Can’t wait to come back again! Thanks again for everything!

Unfortunately we didn’t have the same experience as what I read in the other reviews. We had trouble figuring out how to turn on the water and instead of just showing us how it worked he made us feel stupid. There is a security camera facing the fire pit area which should be mentioned in the listing. Also there is a motion sensor light at the end of the barn which kept turning on when we moved around the fire pit. The sites are side by side so there is no privacy if there are two guests. We rented both sites to make sure we had some privacy. I would rate our stay as mediocre

Jimmy & Donna are amazing! They greeted us when we arrived to camp and made sure to say good bye before departure. Their property is wonderful! Quiet! There was only 3 campers (including ours). Not much to do for kids but that isn’t a problem with all the outdoor activities close by. We will definitely be coming back! Thanks for an amazing stay!!

Jimmy is very nice and accommodating. The site is quiet and peaceful, with decent cell service. It’s right off the road, but if we maybe saw three cars and two off road vehicles the entire stay. There were nice chairs, a swing, a fire pit and fire wood for our use, and it was nice having the septic hookup. The site is level, but there had been a lot of rain and we had to adjust our parking to make it work on the soft stone. WiFi signal is okay if the barn doors are open. Location is very perfect if you’re planning to visit Cave Run Lake!

Jimmy and Donna were the most welcoming and friendly hosts! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and felt safe as a solo female traveler. They went above and beyond to ensure I had a wifi setup that worked for my virtual meetings, and even shared fresh tomatoes and apples. The location is peaceful and quiet yet not a far drive from outdoor adventures. The hookups were great and access to a campfire at night was a plus. Would highly recommend anyone passing through or looking for a warm/welcoming experience to book with Jimmy and Donna!

Beautiful countryside and a peaceful, quiet place to enjoy it. We were unsure of directions on the way in - and had poor cell service - our awesome hosts texted directions and came out to greet us at the end of the drive so we wouldn’t miss it! Everything was clean, easy & comfortable. We had all we needed and we felt welcome :-)

DJ's Camp, LLC - RV SITE
We were welcomed by Donna, Jimmy and Wiggles (their sweet old dog).
Our host were very accommodating.
They have two full hookup sites side by side on a private road next to their barn
(Which they live in but you would never know bc other then the check in /and confirming once we were set up that we were okay; we didn’t see them until we we’re leaving not even wiggles.)
They provided a Covid-19 setup at site.
There was a nice size fire pit with chairs, table and swing and lots of firewood.
We followed the specific directions given and it took us to the driveway entrance without issue. Would definitely recommend this hipcamp for a overnight or longer stay.

My husband and I camped with our trailer on Jimmy and Donna’s land for 2 wonderful weeks. They are excellent hosts and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and felt at home. The full hookup site was modern and well maintained with a beautiful views all around. There is so much to see and do close by that in 2 weeks, we just scratched the surface and can’t wait to stay again.
