Barts place was very quiet(we stayed at the site to the right if facing the A-Frame) , hiking was awesome on property! Highly recommend. Could use vechicle or tent to camp at all 3 spots!

Bart was a super friendly host. The campsite was nice and quiet with beautiful views. It was peaceful and the bathroom and shower were in great condition.

I arrived after dark but Barts directions got me right to the property no problem! I woke up to a beautiful view. It was so nice to walk around, let my pup run and enjoy the peace before hitting the road again. Bart stopped by and was such a delight to chat with. Thanks for sharing your slice of paradise Bart!

We enjoyed staying at Camp Middle Fork. It was peaceful and relaxing. Bart was super nice and met us upon arrival to show us around. I messaged to ask questions before we booked and he was very quick to respond. We asked for the furthest spot and he made sure there was fire wood already by the pit. There was some cut and stacked that we were able to grab anytime as well. The outhouse was clean and smelled of cedar. We stayed mostly at our site but the outdoor kitchen wasn’t far if we needed it.

Bart and his family have a nice set up in the hills of Irvine. Me and my kids enjoyed hiking the trails and walking through the creek. It was a peaceful get away. As other reviewers mention, there’s poison ivy around the trails as there is in much of Kentucky, so just be mindful of where you walk.

I loved staying there! It is a bit confusing getting to the campsite, but I called Bart and he immediately came down to help me find it. Bart and his wife are insanely kind! It's a cute little land with a compostable outhouse which I loved. I highly recommend!

Hosts are incredibly friendly as were the other campers staying on their property at the time we went. Beautifully maintained with gorgeous views. Even the outhouse was beautiful 😅. Loved being able to hear the stream nearby throughout the night. Would absolutely recommend!

Beautiful property! We had to walk our stuff up when we arrived due to the rain the night before, but on our walk there were SO MANy butterflies; it was magical. There was plenty of space to set up tents and the running water and outdoor kitchen space was a huge plus. I hiked the stairs up into the woods, there were plenty of places to explore. Fair warning—there was poison ivy throughout the paths so if you don’t know what it looks like, familiarize yourself.

Great area with lots to do. There was a mushroom festival in town with a car and rock show, live music etc. The host was amazing, helped with information on hiking trails and things to do in the area. Hiking trails right behind camp, and a stream very close for the kids to play and discover new things in. Our boys had a really fun time on their first camping trip! If you haven’t already, give this place a visit.

My sin and I enjoyed our stop at Barts property. The scenery was gorgeous. He fetched some firewood fornme and his wife brought kinding. Their son incuded mine in a morning walk down to the creek and to a neighbors place to explore. The composting toilet was awesome. No smell and it was clean and peaceful. It was an added bonus to have a covered outdoor kitchen/seating area with a fresh spring water sink, ample counter space, table, stools, and electricity. Bonus an electric tea kettle! There was a box with maps, guides, and other goodies for guests. There was a crazy hard trail up the mountain behind the site that was steep and slippery. The view was worth it. We will definitely be back.

My partner and I loved this campsite so much we didn’t ever want to leave! Even in the early spring it was a peaceful little oasis with the butter cups and trickling stream. I didn’t realize how much I needed an outdoor kitchen / yoga deck in my life until now. And even though Bart was unable to physically be at the campground while we were there, he was very attentive and checked in on us via text to make sure everything was going well. We will be back. Thank you Bart!!

We enjoyed camping on Bart’s property. The views were spectacular. The outdoor kitchen area was perfect. There is a hiking trail that leads up to the compost outhouse and then continues up to a ledge where you can climb up and hike some more. They have a garden of peppers and herbs which was a nice addition to our breakfast tacos. We definitely recommend.

Very nice set up. Very secluded. Unfortunately the public use sync was not working. It is a multiple site camp so be prepared for a very close neighbor which we had both nights. Enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and the stars were so bright at night. We definitely recommend.

The area was super pretty and very excluded from everywhere else. Bart had trails all around for you to hike. The camp site had running water and electricity. It was amazing
