Experience the best of luxury and relaxation in this secluded canvas tent at Bunker Farm, nestled within the picturesque creekside of the 7-acre farm in Ryland Heights, Kentucky. Step inside this furnished bell tent to discover a spacious retreat complete with a queen size bed. Marshall Road runs through the bottom third of our property making a secluded area along Decoursey Creek that feels like a you're way out in the woods, yet not far from the city. Our canvas tent is situated under large mature trees, secluded from the road. An open field located on the property along Decoursey Creek, which brings in a variety of flora and fauna. This 12 foot canvas bell tent is sure to take relaxation to the next level. Within this tent, a queen size memory foam mattress, lightweight sheets, extra blankets and paired with two firm and two soft pillows are provided. The door way is a double zip closure. For cooking, a gas burner and a small gas grill, a cast iron skillet along with acacia wood plates and bowls, utensils, and knives are available for use. For fresh coffee in the morning, an enamel Percolator and mugs are provided. An extra large cooler (100 gal) for your cold items is available outside of the tent. Please bring your own camping equipment if needing any items outside of what's listed. For your bathroom needs, we are currently building a bath house. It does have a fully functional toilet and sink using water catchment. The shower is not complete, will be in the coming weeks. Please bring water for drinking and brushing teeth. Toilet paper, hand soap and sanitizer will be provided. In addition to firelight from the campfire, the tent is lit by battery-powered a LED lantern, battery operated candles, decor and a pair of solar lamps. No electric is available at this site currently. One battery operated fan is provided. First load of wood is included with your reservation. $7 per bundle if you need more. We use the honor system for this, please send any extra money through HipCamp if more wood is used. We provide fire starting materials and a lighter, fire extinguisher is located in the trunk within the tent. Parking area is close to the tent, yet not right next to it. A large rolling cart is provided to help with getting belongings to and from the parking area. Please only park and drive on graveled area. Creekside Hideaway is nestled on Decoursey Creek, you will have access to the bottom area of the property along the creek. Rock steps have been put in along the creek for easy access down to the creek. This property is partially wooded, and has an open field as well. We are always pet friendly, but you must maintain control of your pets and you are responsible for them at all times. Decoursey creek is a natural waterway. It is frequented by wildlife and can be contaminated by runoff from local farms. DO NOT drink the water. Make sure to wash your hands after they have been in the water before eating and drinking. Pink tape on trees are to mark the approximate property lines, please remain within the property. The creek is part of the property but please do not go to the far bank, as the creek marks our property line.

Step inside this 10 ft bell tent to discover a spacious retreat. This 10 foot canvas bell tent is next to Decoursey Creek with views and sounds of the creek right from the tent. The door way is a double zip closure. This tent, unlike our other is not equipped with any supplies. Please bring all of your own camping equipment. For your bathroom needs, we have started construction of a bath house. Currently has a fully functional toilet and sink from water catchment. Please bring water for drinking and brushing teeth. Toilet paper, hand soap and sanitizer will be provided. Please excuse our dust. In addition to firelight from the campfire, around the tent are some ambient solar lights to illuminate with area at night. Please be sure to bring your own lights. No electric is available at this site currently. Wood is available on site for $7 per bundle. You can add it to your reservation and we will have it at the tent for you when you arrive. We have extra at the parking area, but we do use the honor system for this, please send any extra money through hip camp if more wood is used. Enjoy a fire in the fire pit with wine/beer from 1 of the local wineries/distilleries. Redman Farms located 5 miles away. Atwood Hill Winery & Vineyard located 10 miles. Braxton Brewery located 9 miles. Fabled Brew Works located 10 miles away. This tent is in the wilderness. If you do not like outdoors, this tent may not be for you. There are insects and animals that live/frequent in this area. We have a large population of birds, chipmunks, rabbits, turkey, deer, raccoons and the occasional snake. Be aware of your surroundings, especially around any brush piles, as animals will make these their homes. All food should be put away before leaving the site or going to bed. Make sure all of the trash is secured, as we do NOT want to attract any scavengers.

It was the best time ever I had with my husband! All vibes were extremely great. Also, the tent was good and the bed was perfect. The best thing was the calm the place was very calm and safe. Thank you so much for helping us to spend the best time ever

It was a great stay. Going into the weekend we were a little worried about the temperature at night with it being later in the year. But it was great we just used an extra blanket, and didn't even turn on the heater provided.

Creekside Hideaway at Bunker Farm
This was a super find ! It is close to everything but feels like you’re far away. We are locals that were looking to go camping without driving far or packing a bunch of stuff. This was exactly what we needed and didn’t know it! Very private, super Glamping tent site! We took our young daughter and dog and everyone had a great time. The host, Kate was very accommodating to our needs and we will definitely be back !!

Advertising was very misleading. Marketed as a "secluded tent" on a "7 acre farm," but in reality you're crammed onto about a half acre with 2 other camp sites right next to you (3 total sites). Site is sandwiched between a very dirty stream on one side and a road on the other. Host also marketed the site as "off leash" for dogs, but then later told us that because one of the adjacent sites was booked, we needed to keep our dogs on leash. I tried to contact the host to express my disappointment, but she never responded to me.

The Janbulance was the perfect getaway. I had everything I needed and more. The bed was comfortable. The outdoor seating area was the perfect place to relax and listen to nature. I highly recommend staying here.

The owners responded immediately to questions, were helpful in providing all information necessary and even brought down home grown eggs and chatted for a minute. The hill is steep and you’ll need a spotter going back up. The grounds were awesome and yurt/fire pit was in great condition. The creek was low when we went. Campsite is shared with two other spot but were unoccupied during our stay. Had no trouble finding it on the drive in. Had a blast!

We really enjoyed staying at Hunter Farms in the Janbulance. The ambulance had a shower, stove, and room for the two dogs. It was right next to the creek. The dogs and I enjoyed the scenery. It was close to the other sites but we were blessed to have beautiful weather and no neighbors. Thank you for sharing your property.

What a great experience! I spent the weekend with my wife and we had a great time. My wife found it really cozy and I loved being able to relax and enjoy the firepit by the little stream. Even left us cold coozys in the fridge. Honestly, the host was really thoughtful with everything. Cold water in the fridge, tea and coffee, some little snacks, etc. She even wrote us a little hand written note. We don't really watch TV, but there was one there with a roku. Which would have been good if it rained, but we were lucky enough to have nice weather. We always thought of building a tiny house after watching them on YouTube and this was a good way for us to experience it. It was pretty cool to be able to live in something that is totally off-grid, but also have everything you need. Loved it! We will book again.

Comfy Glamping Amazing Experience!
Creekside Hideaway at Bunker Farm
I loved my Glamping experience on Kate’s Land! I felt safe while I was solo camping. It was secluded away from anyone so I had my place to myself. The creek was lovely & hammock awesomely zen. But best yet was the amazingly comfortable bedding- I melted into the bed and pillows!!! What a comfortable adventure in Kentucky. I highly recommend and plan to be back. Thank you for your hospitality.
