Our group included a set of grandparents and a family of 4 with two toddlers. This was a private campground in a quiet area. Some campsites had electrical outlets that were not compatible with our setup, but we located ones that were. There was a play area for the kids with a bit of play equipment suitable for different age groups, and a horseshoe pit. The resident dogs were friendly and visited our sites each morning. The owner was friendly and helpful and made sure we were settled in and had what we needed. If you are looking for a quiet out-of-the-way campsite, not too many frills but all you need for a fun camping experience, as opposed to more modern, bustling camping experience, then this quaint campground is for you!

Great experience camping here for the first time . We arrived and greated upon arrival the man showed us the spots available and let us choose whichever we liked . The sites are nice and spacious with a fire pit set up . Had a great experience and would recommend to anyone looking for a camping location. Gas stations and food spots are also near by .

We needed a place to stay while in transit to Chattanooga. We enjoyed hiking around to see some arches and decided to stay at the Boone valley primitive campsite. We had a great time the bathrooms were nice would reccomened a bench and place to put cloths. But other than that it was great.

Everything overall was perfect, got there super early set are tent up then the next morning moved to one of the more private spots with a table and chairs, my gfs car got stuck in mud and the man came and towed her out and then just went about his day, overall was very nice good area, the small town and tourist areas around the site was a very nice change of scenery 10/10 would recommend for anyone especially for the price

Me and my friends had such a great time! We found some local trails during the day to hike and slept peacefully in our campsite. Wood can be picked up or delivered right to your site. Land is beautiful and they have some brand new restrooms with showers that made the whole trip so comfortable. One thing I will definitely bring next time is some toilet paper, as that went fast.

I loved how isolated the campsite was! We really got to enjoy the stars and the nature around us. Hot showers and bathrooms were available. There is a tiny lil dog that you have to get around to enter the site but he’s very sweet.

This was a great spot, located pretty close to both Sky Bridge and Natural Bridge. The property is nice and very quiet, which we loved. There are two bathrooms with showers that were clean and well maintained. The owner was very friendly (and there is a cute little guard dog to greet you). We weren't sure where the dump station was, but it wasn't a problem at all, since we were able to just drive to a Love's gas station and use theirs.

Nice and secluded campsite. Good fire ring. We didn’t use any facilities so I’m unsure what they are like if there are any. Host was nice and welcoming. There are water taps at other sites the host let us use to refill our waters

Very quiet campground in the middle of beautiful forest.
My self my husband, son and grandson stayed 5 nights. We enjoyed the birds every morning. Loved walking on property.
Bathrooms and showers very clean.
Here during a music festival. Bonus of live music!
We will return. It’s a beautiful area for swimming, SUP/ kayaking, rock climbing and hiking.
We love all the restaurants!
Owner of campground is so nice. Really keeps an eye on everything happening in camp.
We Rv and tent camp. So fun. All hook ups worked as described.
We will miss little Max. What a sweet dog.

My husband and I stayed here with our mini schnauzer. We loved staying here and will be back. Our son, grandson and his dog met us here. Very peaceful campground. We happened to luck out on dates and there was a music festival. Nice to hear live music!
Owner is very helpful with any needs.
Showers and bathrooms were clean and in working order. Hope to be back to this area and will stay here again.
This was our first Hip Camp reservation. Went very well! Thanks Ben!

We had an amazing time primitive camping on Mr. Ben’s land! He was a wonderful host and his little buddy Max by the shower house is just the cutest camp helper ever! I’m a flatlander so I misjudged my vehicles capabilities at one point and Mr. Ben got it out for me! I can’t say enough good things about this hidden gem near Red River Gourge! He has some beautiful land with creeks running through it. Magical place.

This was a nice camping spot. Plenty of spots available, the host was friendly and helpful. There are a few things the first and most obvious was the first bathroom/shower the lock is on the outside of the door. This should be fixed immediately! Other than that maybe some toilets separate from the showers to ease wait times. The last thing we noticed was the amount of broken glass around the campsites.

Great little private campground. Everything about my experience was fantastic. Bathroom's could be setup to be more practical and functional with necessities but I made it work. I will stay here again if I am in the area.

Boone Valley Campground is the place to be. If you are looking for a nice quiet camping experience you have to check this place out. The owner Ben is one of the coolest fellas you'll ever meet. We camp 10 to 20 times a year and this has been one our our favorite spots ever. Very close to natural bridge and the gorge.

Had a blast tent camping with wife, our pup, and a few friends. Grounds were easy to navigate, very spacious, the bathrooms were quite a trek uphill but it was very nice to have access to running water, toilets, and showers! Firewood is available on site for $7 a bundle, the host was great!

We loved camping on Ben’s land! Lots of primitive sites from open field to hammock camping. Shower house is in progress but nicely kept. We camped all the way at the bottom near a small waterfall; 4 wheel drive is highly recommended in some spots at the bottom. Ben came and checked on us and is very pleasant. Would definitely stay again when visiting the area.
