Nestled just minutes away from the Fort Riley military base, The Owls Nest Campground stands out as a premier destination for campers seeking a blend of comfort and nature. Since its opening in March 2004, our campground has been dedicated to providing an exceptional camping experience, whether you're looking for a place to stay temporarily or a longer-term retreat. Our spacious campsites are designed for your comfort, featuring lush grass, shade from trees, picnic tables, and essential amenities such as dump stations and electrical hook-ups with both 30 and 50 amp options. Select sites also offer water, sewer, and cable services. For those in need of propane, it is readily available upon request. In addition to our campsites, The Owls Nest Campground boasts two coin-operated washers and dryers, a complimentary shower facility, and 24-hour cable internet access. For a cozy stay, we offer two fully furnished cabins. Our friendly office staff and camp host are always on hand to assist you with any needs during your visit. Looking ahead, we have exciting plans for enhancements, including playground equipment—featuring a large rope swing—storage lockers for long-term campers, and a furnished tent glamping site.
