shady park pads, quiet place and some nice trails. if you are into disk golf there are some nice paths to follow. we come every year as a group and love it

Cement pads and better gravel on the driveway would be helpful. The shaded areas a great but also muddy if rainy. A flat cemented pad would've helped with leveling the campers. The bath houses and bathrooms seemed very primitive and not clean co.pared to other parks we have been too. The play ground equip while semi adequate wasn't what I had anticipated for the children, also no beach for swimming which per the website I thought was available. It was a nice peaceful location so that was a huge plus!

I used Lutheran Lakeside Camp for car camping. There were nice people to greet me and help me find my spot. Water and electricity were at my site. Lots of big old trees provided shade, and easy walk to get to the lake. I was able to sit out on the dock to enjoy the quiet evening before a few sprinkles. The camp is large and people are fairly spread out. The restroom by the pool is old and pretty basic, but had toilet, sink, mirror and shower, not too far from my spot. I enjoyed my stay. Bring bug spray. I used a face net to keep the knats away from my eyes.

We have a wonderful time RV camping at Lutheran Lakeside Campground! It was a quite setting with lots of amenities for our two kids (11 and 13 yo). Our favorite was the pristine 18 hole frisbee golf course onsite!

It was a very quiet place being so close to a city attractions. The only thing I would have liked is a map of park to guide to rv site and how to get to lake and disc golf layout. Outside that it’s a very nice place to stay. The dogs loved being able to relax under a tree and just look around.

The camp was wonderful! Full connection lots of space and wonderful staff, short walk from the beach, pet friendly, wonderful time for our family of 5!! I would recommend to everyone to stay here!

It was a relaxing place to camp at. The kids had fun at the rustic playground and we enjoyed the open space and trails. Lots of beautiful large trees creating a nice shady canopy. There is a great frisbee golf course that is new to this camp. The showerhouse & Bathrooms are rustic and a bit further away, but not a big deal. There was also a portable toilet closer by the campsites.

Great camp ground that is not a parking lot! Beautiful treed, grassy area that our kids loved running and playing. Several shower houses (not sure what ones are taken when campers are there). The access to the lake was nice, but with the time of year the lake was crazy busy.

Great place, we saw deer, beaver, geese, and a variety of other birds. The space was very open and comfortable. Our hostess (Brittany) was very gracious!

Lutheran Lakeside Camp is SUCH a gem! We weren't hopeful of finding a campsite for Labor Day wknd because we didn't plan our trip far enough in advance. A friend told us about Hipcamp & that's how we found this spot. The host, Brittney, was so warm & welcoming and she came by to check on us to find out if we needed anything. The camp is right on the lake & we were even able to walk to a wonderful bar & grill on the water right next to us. The Ranger was also fantastic & so friendly. It was a beautiful & private spot & we will definitely be going back next year!! I want to also mention that the entire community is SO dog friendly! We were able to take our dog to restaurants and also golfing (she didn't play, she just rode in the cart :-)

Great experience.. wonderful property, electric and water available. Hosts were awesome. Sites were spaced so we felt safe (because of COVID) and distanced from other campers. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and wished we didn’t have to leave so soon.

We had a great time at Lutheran Lakeside. We were especially pleased with the amount of space we had given the current COVID conditions. Brittney was quick and effective with her communications, and she was helpful and friendly when we were onsite. I highly recommend!!

One of the best campsites we have vacationed at. The hosts and staff on site are wonderful. Beautiful sites. Very peaceful and quite. Tons of wildlife. Hiking trails on site. Minutes from essentials. Bathrooms were extremely well kept! We will absolutely be back!
