Formerly the Mederville Wildlife Club, this land is situated on the north side of the hill and is accessible by a very rough “B” road.
The property features two stocked fishing ponds, a vineyard, and trails for hiking, photography, mushroom hunting, and birdwatching. There’s a fire pit for campfires — and more stars than can be counted. It’s secure and very private. This glamping site is a studio with two sleeping lofts. There is a queen futon on main floor with a queen and twin in each loft, comfortably sleeping 5. The kitchenette has a refrigerator, microwave, and indoor grill/griddle. Outside is a propane grill and firepit. Firewood is provided for campfires. There is a coffee bar, wifi access and a large TV on the main level. There is an outdoor shower only. This property is located at the end of a dead-end "B" road and can be quite rough. High profile vehicles are recommended. The owner lives on the property and can be of assistance as needed. The stocked fishing ponds are about one half mile from home base. There are miles of trails throughout the woods. Just remember you are staying at the top of the hill and hiking back is uphill. At this time there is only one unit for rent on the property. Due to the rough road in, RVs are not recommended.
