Built in 1860 by its first caretaker botanist, this homestead was propagated over its many years of life and is busting at the seams with medicinal and edible herbs. We now run a flower farm and vegetable gardens on our homestead. If you’d like to learn about herbs or gardening/ homesteading, we love sharing our knowledge. If you’d just like some farm fresh eggs for breakfast and enjoy your time alone, amongst all the songbirds, that's just fine too :) The property is built into the stone hillside allowing for breathtaking views but also stairs to get to the campsites. Please wear comfortable shoes (not flip flops 😉). If you have mobility issues property access will be difficult. !CLASSES! We run our small school/business: HOMESTEAD and HAMMER from the property and are bringing classes to YOU in the 2022 Season! Look in the "EXTRAS" for classes you can partake in on your visit OR when booking through the calendar- weekend class bookings- will be @ a higher rate and require you to book the entire weekend. For more information on what's included on class weekends check out our website below! Classes include, forAging wild edibles, mushroom identification, homesteading skills, soap making, forging metals and many more! *Daily fee is for TWO guests, room/board, 2 A classes, 1 B class, lunch on Saturday and a gift basket full of local artisan goodies! Glamping Bunkie
Jessica was a fabulous host! My pup and I really enjoyed being tucked into nature, but still really close to the cute downtown of Bellevue. I added the flower/plant identification tour and learned so much and even made delicious strawberry rhubarb pie with the rhubarb I brought home. I definitely foresee my dog and I returning!

Glamping Bunkie
We enjoyed Jessica’s hospitality and information about her land and the things that she has been working on since she bought it. It was lovely to go to sleep with the night sounds of the forest.

Glamping Bunkie
Beautiful place with many extras!
We really loved this spot! Having a bed with a “campsite” atmosphere was fantastic. Jessica was a great host and was available for questions and showed a genuine love of her homestead and sharing with others. The classes offered while we were there was a really neat option as well! My husband really enjoyed the knife sharpening class. Would really recommend this place and will visit again!

Glamping Bunkie
The Bunkie was adorable and fit my needs for a quick overnight. I wish I had more time to stay and explore the farm, but the setting was idyllic and it was cool enough to sleep with the windows open. The bed was super comfy and I loved having an unplugged evening after a long day on the road! Rocket the skunk was an unexpected highlight and the history of the homestead was super intriguing!

Glamping Bunkie
This is such a sweet, comfy spot in a friendly and sweet town in a lovely setting. The gardens are beautiful, and Jessica was a flexible and welcoming host, accommodating my very late arrival. My dog loved it too. I only wish we could have been there longer!
