Site 12 Deer Crossing
Deer Crossing
Deer crossing is a great site, with enough sun to charge solar panels, but still have available shade. Trees for hammocks and plenty of space to spread out. This site is in the center of the lower camp so you can hike the campsites trails or meander the nearby woods.

My husband and I enjoyed all the beauty that Walnut Valley has to offer. Each and every site gives a different feel to the place. You could be nestled in the woods like my husband and I were so peaceful with the sound of nature. Or out on an open field with the stars to fill the night sky. Got to admit the weekend we stayed that was the perfect spot to see the Blue Moon or Sturgeon Moon some call it. Either way perfect spot for the night sky. You can be on a site with electric or get a primitive site. However you like to camp you must add Walnut Valley to your list.

Perfect spot
Loved camping in site 10, I definitely understand why it is so popular. Perfect blend of sun and shade, quiet, and private! A great time as always at Walnut Valley!

Nice spot, clean. Some people left some trash in the campfire but otherwise no complaints.
