Walnut Valley offers a peaceful and secluded camping experience, perfect for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle. The campground boasts well-maintained trails, abundant wildlife, and friendly, attentive hosting by Brian. While most sites are private and spacious, a few might not be completely level, but they remain accommodating. The lack of modern amenities like running showers might deter some, but for those who appreciate nature's tranquility, this spot delivers a serene retreat.

It was okay
The bathroom is at the front of the property and from spot 10, it's a hike. If you're self contained, it's a beautiful, private, quiet spot. Recommend 4WD getting in and out, especially when it's raining. Bugs are bad. Bring bug spray or other deterrents. Beware falling black walnuts. Recommend a canopy tent over the picnic table to protect from them. It really is a beautiful spot for self-contained camping. Bring in your own water and toilet. Wood provided was dry and burned well.

It was okay
The walnut grove is fabulous! It was very private with no other campers in the vicinity. Our site was not completely level but acceptable. Love the two-holer outhouse!
