This place is awesome! We were so lucky to find it. The river is literally right there and it's so clean and was perfect for a couple of super hot muggy days.
Our neighbor was a seasonal camper that's been there for many years and they were so welcoming and helpful (Bob & Jolene).
There is not a million activities for kiddos, though there is the river, creek, playground, and that kind of thing.
It's self check-in and out and that was pretty nice.
Sites were huge and we were able to park our trailer so we were facing the river the whole time.
The wildlife is crazy! Deer, and TONS of birds.
The only thing I didn't love was that the bathhouse is in need of some updating. If you go into it knowing that, it's not a big deal. And we had the trailer so it wasn't an issue.
We will 100% return!

Sarah has a beautiful campground tucked in the woods by the river! We loved that it was a smaller campground and felt like we had plenty of space from other campers. The area is great for biking as the country roads are not super busy and the fall leaves made it such a pretty ride! Sarah was excellent to communicate and get us to our spot when we arrived!

Love this site! The campers here are very kind and the hosts are even better! Bring a kayak and take advantage of the river run! Totally worth it!

Tippecanoe River Run Campground
Absolutely gorgeous spot along the river. Well-suited to human and dog swimming, and a steady flow to the river makes it fun for canoeing and tubing as well. Our dog absolutely loved it and we could not have been more pleased with its beauty.
Good sized camping lots made us feel we had our own place, despite many others nearby on a popular Labor Day weekend. Good people surrounding us too, the kind you hope to meet who are friendly and kind and not too party oriented.
Sarah was super helpful when our GPS took us to the wrong location about a mile away; staff were friendly when checking up around the property.
Only word of advice - the rest rooms are adequate but tired.

Tippecanoe River Run Campground
Site was much closer to others than anticipated. We thought we reserved a site but apparently it’s actually first come first serve. The listing said they’ll bring you firewood but they didn’t any so we had to double back to town and get more. The campsite next to us was also near the “daughter of the owners” site and the owner told this group they had to move bc daughter was coming that day (never showed up), so they came closer to us which meant there was about 2-3 feet between our tents.
Just feel like what was advertised was not what we got. We had a good time but not my favorite site and won’t be coming back here.

Tippecanoe River Run Campground
We enjoyed our time at Tippecanoe River Run- Sarah was so communicative, and we got a great spot with a fire pit and beautiful forest views. We saw a deer outside of our door one of the mornings! It's just a short walk to the river and there's a little dock where my husband and I brought a nice cold drink, sat on the chairs, and enjoyed a lovely Friday afternoon. There's not much to do in the town, so plan on enjoying the solitude of the area. If you're into picking flowers, there's Zellers u-pick farm not too far away, and if you're into antiques there's a terrific shop about 18 minutes from the campground. We would recommend this hipcamp- thank you Sarah!

Staff was super friendly and helpful. Even when arriving late, Ryan came and explained the layout to see where we could pitch our tent in the dark.
Facilities are great and the river is right at your door step. Bring your kayaks or go to one of the few companies that host kayak/canoe/tubing runs. A lot of fun!

Very nice campground. I. Highly recommend it. Central restroom with showers and hot water! Grass is nicely mowed right up to the river bank. There's park benches there, so you can sit down while fishing. And there's a kayak or small boat launch. Very peaceful family oriented campground with a nice sandy bottom area of the river with a rope swing and pier. And some real nice playground equipment.

This is set up more like a traditional rv park than your normal hipcamp. The spots are spacious, have mature trees for shade, and are right next to a beautiful, wadeable river. The experience was very relaxing and peaceful. We will definitely be back to stay there again.

The Tippecanoe River Run exceeded my expectations. We were in need of an escape from Chicago and being able to be outdoors in a beautiful river side camp site was exactly what we needed. The other campers were friendly and respectful of personal space. The bathrooms were some of the cleanest campground bathrooms I’ve seen. My group was all gay men and even though Indiana has a reputation for being conservative, we were never made to feel out of place or unwelcome. In fact, it was just the opposite. Sarah and her camp host were so hospitable. We loved every minute.

This site is located right on the river. My wife and I kayaked for several hours and had a great time. As for the campsite it’s not as primitive / remote as we would have liked but the site was clean and felt safe. I would stay here again.

We only stayed for one night during a road trip, but we loved it! Eric was a great host, very helpful and responsive. As we drove away my husband said he wished we were staying longer. We will have to come back.

What a beautiful, peaceful and fun campground for a family! We and our young kids loved it! The campsites are spacious and the grounds are lovely. The managers were very sweet and helpful. We loved exploring the riverbank and getting into nature! Our kids had a great time playing at the “mud kitchen”, the horseshoes, and the playground. With four small kids, we always look for a campground that is safe for children and full of adventure. Tippecanoe River Run is both, and you can see it in the attention to detail all throughout the campgrounds. Thanks for a great stay!

Recommend for people who like to camp and want to camp in a quieter atmosphere... the attitude of my hosts were pleasant and very kind and friendly service they went above and beyond treating my stay good for my time there. Nice little getaway! Without a lot of problems... only problem I had was another camper was their dog peed on me....and possibly a pair of shoes came up missing... the hosts were fantastic though! Couldn’t be more pleasant and I left going home with an inner peace and calmness that I haven’t had for the last 5 years of my life!!

Really great stay here. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. Sites are quite open, but still comfortable with a great deal of land surrounding them for a variety of activities.
