Nice secluded campsites with lots of space and privacy. Fire wood available for $5 for a bundle or you can bring your own, also have excellent cell phone service unlike most state parks in the area. Picnic tables, fire pits and water available and also have a portable idc tote so we can fill your tank at any site. 30 amp and 20 amp outlets at rv sites 1, 2 and 3. Brookville Lake is about 5 minutes away. We have 25 acres with about 3 wooded acres with over 100 sugar maple trees and about 20 acres of flat grass fields plenty of room to hike, just keep in mind we have one horse that is fenced in so please close gates back when you open them. We mow trails for hiking feel free to explore, if you run into a cornfield it's not our property. Att has excellent service at 94mbps download and 11mbps upload, Verizon is good at 36mbps Download and 5mbps upload. We have an outhouse for tent campers And water is available by campsite 1 and we have portable idc tote with city water. We also have 3 indoor/outdoor cats, they like to visit the campground. Direction: Please use SR 44 to country road 450 and go north and take a right at 4 way stop on to Springersville Road and we are about a quarter mile down the road on the left. Little yellow house with 3 eastern white pine tree before the driveway.

Camp sites are numbered so make your self at home and go to your site and setup. This site is in the back of the property and very private. Firewood is available for $5 a bucket or you can bring your own. This site has some shade in the early morning and a few small trees for shade for the day.

This site has a 20 amp outlet and 30 amp outlet and fire pit and picnic table. Site 3 is over 100ft wide and 100ft. Long plenty of room to turn around for any rig. This is a very private and spacious site, if your looking for peace and quiet this is your site. Firewood is available for $5 a bucket or you can bring your own.

Very spacious site on grass. Site 2 has 30 amp rv plug and 20 amp standerd house outlets with fire pit and picnic table. Site 2 is 70ft. Wide and 100ft. Long. This is a very spacious and private site, if you looking for peace and quiet, this is your site. Fire wood is available for $5 a bucket or you can bring your own.

The site was quiet and conveniently located near many things to explore. We biked the Whitewater Canal Trail, hiked the trails at Shrader-Weaver Woods, and visited Mary Gray Bird Sanctuary. We also enjoyed an afternoon in Centerville, Indiana, exploring the 5 arches, browsing antiques, and grabbing food at the local restaurants.

I thought overall the campsite was pretty decent and had a good amount of space. Unfortunately I was on my motorcycle and the way back to site was all grass so I had a difficult time getting back there. Then there was a train maybe a mile away that came by every 2 hours or so all night blasting it's horn the whole time. If you are just traveling in a car and need a place to stay it is definitely budget friendly so I don't want to seem down on it but it didn't work out for me. Also the firewood I bought was bordering on wet and barely burned.

This was my first time using hipcamp and this particular site was really nice. The area is well maintained and with many amenities like an outhouse, water (not drinkable i dont think?) and they even have firewood available and I was even able to have cell service (verizon). Sites have a fire ring and a few have picnic tables and I think one even had a grill. Out in the country but still close to stores and restaurants if you need to restock which was helpful because I forgot to bring a lighter! I'll definitely keep this on my list of sites to visit again!!

Stayed at site #3. It was a large, very private site surrounded by lovely wildflowers. We enjoyed walking around the mowed areas of the property, at times under the watchful eye of a horse in his fenced-in pasture. Very nice.

Gorgeous and quiet property with clean facilities. The wildflowers were beautiful and his cats are very sweet! Definitely recommend to anyone passing through, Robert was super kind and a great host!

We chose this place because the state parks and rec areas were full, this place was clean, spacious and had beautiful views, also we were the only ones there! , we would stay again if it’s only for a night simply because we tent camp and would need a shower if staying longer than a night, they did have a clean out house.

As advertised. We went directly to our campsite and setup. We were the only campers there AFAIK. Easy to find as it is listed on Google maps. Private and nice looking property. Great views of the night sky.

Our stay was great! We were happy to have an RV as there was an intense thunderstorm the evening we arrived. After the storm passed we were enchanted by the abundance of fireflies! The location was so quiet and remote. Beautiful starry night skies! The campsite was so big and neat!

My first Hipcamp as I start traveling as a digital nomad. So hidden away and peaceful, a great place to be. I will for sure be back!! Hosts are extremely available but leave you all the privacy you might want.

Hipcamp website was extremely hard to navigate. It did not enter my information correctly. I explained this to Rob. His wife asked me to leave before I had even been there 24 hours. Said I didn't represent myself right. This was terribly unfair. I will never go back ,and do business with anybody like this. Very unhappy. They a need a better source of a reservation company, or do it themselves.

We loved camping at Sugar Maple Valley. We decided last minute to look for somewhere off the beaten path to take our camper with no idea what to expect! We showed up after dark but the sites were clearly marked and all the basic amenities were. There were a couple other campers but we still felt secluded and were able to relax!
