    A Last-Minute Saving Grace
    Patoka Pines RV Campground was exactly what we needed during a stressful weekend. Early May in Indiana can be unpredictable, and after flooding made it clear we would not safely reach our original camping destination, we needed a place quickly. Within about 15 minutes, we were able to book a full-hookup pull-through site for two nights. After speaking with the property manager, I felt reassured right away. Even though it was early May, not quite peak camping season but close, the campground felt ready, clean, and well maintained. Our site was stable, level, and easy to access. The bathrooms were clean, inviting, and comfortable to use. The campground was peaceful, relaxing, and a wonderful place to retreat back to after a chaotic start. I also appreciated that the rules were clear and fair, especially around pets and personal responsibility. As a family traveling with a child, we felt safe and settled. Patoka Pines gave us room to breathe, rest, and reset. We are genuinely grateful we found it when we did, and we would absolutely stay again.
