Glamping at its best. This lot is at the highest point over looking the lake. This travel trailer sleeps 6. Made for children, the park offers a lake for fishing, boat rentals, beach, swimming pools, game room, mini-golf, kids activities, and more. Air conditioning when it is cold, heat when it is hot, stay dry on a rainy day, inside bathroom. Is this really camping? It is more like Glamour Camping; Glamping. Only 45 minutes from Chicago, and 10 minutes to the Indiana Dunes State Park. This is a nice travel trailer that has two bunk beds in the rear, a dinette and couch that converts to sleepers, and a front bedroom with a queen size bed. Sheets/blankets are supplied, clean towels for up to four people are provided. There is a fire pit, charcoal grill (you have to supply your own charcoal) and gazebo that you can use. Although you are on the lake, you do not have direct access to the lake. Parking is located on the grassy area across the road from the lot. The campground is between the highway and train, so you will hear both day and night with a lot of golf cart traffic. Guest must follow all campground rules, no refunds will be issued. You will have access to all the amenities of the park including use of the pools, beach, and park. Cost of the miniature golf course is not included. Lakeshore Lot 239

A great lil RV experience. Brought my 2 kids, 2 elderly parents, partner & dog and we slept good after a day spent outside grilling, riding golf cart around the property, laying out at the beach, fishing, etc. This is a great getaway for a couple days just over an hour from Chicago. Can’t beat it. RV has everything: pots, plates, cooking utensils, air fryer, grill, pillows, blankets, dish soap, hand soap, salt & pepper, keurig. Great Lake view. We used the fire pit daily & hung out in the gazebo when the rain prevented outdoor activities. Definitely recommend

Great property small and noisy site

Lakeshore Lot 239

This offering is at RV resort located between train tracks and an interstate. The property itself is wonderful and the facilities were clean. The host was great. Two things you need to be aware of though. The site is very small only 26” in length, our PopUp barely fit. Secondly if you are in anything other than a hard sided RV the highway noise is very loud, 24 hours a day. A rumble strip in the vicinity is hit by 3/5 cars and is very loud.

Lakeshore Lot 239

As many reviews of thie Lakeside RV and mobile home park indicate, it's a huge place with many folks who live there. The park and this site have a busy close railroad and a very close busy highway. The site is ok with a nice pond view. Backing a trailer in and levelling on the sloped site took concentration. Electricity and water were fine. Depending on your needs, it might be what you need. It worked for us for a night between travel days with the air conditioner blocking the noise. Not trying to give a bad review but know what you are getting.
