In 1888, the county secured the current location at the intersection of 144 and US 31, ensuring that the fair remains at the heart of Franklin, Indiana. Our campground offers a serene escape, with camping available from April 1st to July 4th and again from July 24th to October 31st, weather permitting. Please note that camping is not permitted during the week before or during the Johnson County 4-H and Agricultural Fair to maintain a smooth experience for all visitors. In addition to its rich history, the fairgrounds are conveniently located near various attractions.
