Hidden Valley Fun Time Happy Camp!
Honestly thought taking 6 teenagers out into the woods with no electricity was going to be a struggle, but this was such an enjoyable experience! It was raining for half of it, but the over cover was amazing. Our fire never went out! Then having rope swings over the river and Whitney came to our site to give us tips and pointing out the incredible eagles nest for us, our kids were having a blast! The whole park was so interesting, we were constantly walking around and finding something new.
And then be able to have an eagle and a doe come right into our camp?? Unforgettable!! The doe actually came face to face with the oldest as he slept in a hammock! These are hands down, the best memories we will treasure!

We were pleasantly surprised at how unique this is. Whitney is an awesome camp host. He greeted us and showed us around. He has put a lot of work into this place, It definitely shows. From lights strung around, an owl placed with glowing eyes , etc. The river was lots of fun, perfect for wading, floating, adults and the kids loved it. We went for one night to check it out, we enjoyed ourselves so much, ended up staying two nights. Our neighbor campers brought their dog. It was fun to watch the dogs play in the water. This is perfect for adults, and also perfect for small kids and families. It is secluded , not crammed in like you are at bigger campgrounds. definitely will be back, and recommending to others.

Hidden Valley Fun Time Happy Camp!
This was our third time coming. And we absolutely loved it! We had a group of three families. We cold plunged in the river. Kids biked all over. Floated down the river. Cooked over the fire. Saw everything from the bald eagles to Boston orioles. Whitney is an absolute delight. He’s kind and creates such a rich and wonderful space. We’ll be back. Many more times. It’s a magical space.

Loved the set up site, beautiful views, very nice and helpful staff. This place is truly a hidden Gem. I was surprised by how it felt like we were the only ones there though we werent. Kid and pet friendly. I loved how there is a theme to each site. Will definately come again.

We really enjoyed camping at Whitney’s property. It was a great campsite along the river with a covered shelter nearby. He’s done a great job adding extra touches like signage and lighting to the sites which made it extra special for my daughter. Truly a great camping experience!

Camping on Whitney’s land is a dream come true!!! So much to explore on land and in the river. There is an eagles nest right across from his place, so be sure to pack those binoculars!!! 10 out of 10 recommend this place! Be sure to also check out Timbers tavern and Honey Beez pancake house for yummy eats 🥰

Hidden Valley Fun Time Happy Camp!
We enjoyed our weekend stay at Whitney’s! It was just as described/how reviewers described! It was so nice to have a place to stay between our home and Indy, as it was our intent to attend an event in the evening. Our children had so much fun!! They enjoyed fishing, running the trails, and gathering wood, as well as raking! It would be so much fun to come again, if we were the only ones, with the intent of playing capture the flag or laser tag (we have a large family). A great stay and last weekend camping for the year!

Such a great camping trip! Whitney's land is lovely, and my site was absolutely perfect. I was able to spend 2 days reading by the water, which is exactly what I was hoping for. I saw lots of wildlife on my stay. Whitney was friendly, welcoming, and even helped me put my tent together, which saved the day because I was struggling 😅 I would absolutely stay here again, and intend to soon. Thank you for having me!

First time that my wife, and my two daughters and I have actually camped together, and we absolutely loved our spot here! We had room to pull my Silverado truck (and mounted our new tent that goes in bed of truck) back into a nice secluded setup with some privacy, plenty of gravel spread out for walking path & fire pit, really nice overhang of trees for shade.
The host (Whitney) was a pleasure to interact with and let us know about a couple other groups camping there as well. Honestly it didn’t feel much like anyone else was there, we had plenty of privacy.
Nice setup to fish in the White River, and while we didn’t catch anything this time, we all still had a fun experience with that.
This is a really cool property that the owner has put a ton of work into. Nice that it’s not too far out in the wilderness (for what we were looking for).
Plenty of wood around to use for fire, and we also brought some of our own.
We agreed that we would definitely book here again!

Loved camping here! Our campsite was right on the river so it was easy to fish while cooking dinner. Will be back again! Love that it felt so remote while also being near stores if you forgot anything!

Goodness, this was wonderful. Whitney’s reputation from the other reviewers is well-earned. We had an incredible weekend and most definitely will return. We live in the area and I was amazed to get to feel so far away. We saw the two bald eagles…heard a bobcat…and more. The way the pathing is designed leaves you feeling like the place is enormous. And we spent a nice amount of time in the river. Overall…loved it. There’s a processing plant across the river to the East and the lights are obnoxious, but I’m within the city, so what can one expect? It felt like we were in another place. 100% recommend.

Place was awesome, our lot was very private which we loved. The river was walking distance from camp and Whitney was very inviting even tought our kids how to play polo when we were setting up. All in all a great camping spot.

Whitney was right on as a host! He communicated effectively and promptly. He met me at the front of his property, and gave me a tour of the camping area. Sites were plentiful as was firewood! Terrific area by the river and bike trail. I was not expecting to hear trains all night tho; perhaps I was just lucky on a Wednesday! I would come back, with earplugs.

My family and I had a great time here this past weekend! We stayed right by the river and there was plenty of shade to keep our tents nice and cool! We did forget a few things of course and there were plenty of places close by to get what we needed. Thank you so much for being a great host Whitney! See you next time!

Had a blast tent camping! I ended up being the only camper there on a Saturday night but boy did I enjoy myself. Going through the area on a bikepacking trip and came across this, right if the bike trails!
Great spot on the river, stocked with firewood and multiple bonfire areas. Places to sit and hang out, not far from food or main roads. Will be back again!

First time sleeping in a tent ever! The spot is secluded, several surfaces to pitch the tent. Several fire pit areas and a communal bench area. Your near a creek. Felt safe. Would do again.

Our campsite had a great woodsy feel to it. And right next to the river! There's a nice platform to pitch a tent or a table and lots of paths to wander around. We had a trouble sleeping so we left early and Whitney was kind enough to refund me a generous sum. Thanks for the beautiful campsite!
