Needs work but has great potential
37 ft travel trailer · With pets · The location was desirable as it was very secluded and quiet aside from the trains that passed through no more than 40 yards from the camp site during the day and night. The listing and photos need to be updated to more accurately reflect the property. The listing states that each site includes water, electric and sewer hookup- this is inaccurate as there is a makeshift dump pipe in a different location off to the side of the property that you must move your rv to in order to dump. The photos on the Hip Camp site appear to have been taken a long time ago because upon entering the property up the steep drive, the sight of the abandoned disheveled mobile home with make-shift fenced animal cages, scattered junk, and tall weeds made us wonder if we were in the wrong place. The parking spot appeared recently covered with stone and the grass area directly adjoining appeared recently cut (although it needed to be cut to less than 10" tall). There was no sign of Fisk Creek as portrayed in the photos just a large piece of property that appeared to be a work in progress? A note to the owner (whom we didn't have a chance to meet) for future guests, mow the grass, clean up the junk (various lawn mowers, scattered junk, trash, do something with the trashy looking mobile home & animal cages), lower the pitch of the entry drive.
If this spot were improved, I could see returning as we enjoyed the seclusion and the close proximity of the trains wasn't so bad after the first night.
