A nice spot to rest for a night or two. Nathanael was helpful when I needed directions into the camp spot, wood purchased was high quality, and the facilities available were great to have!

Room to spread out here with a lot of shade. The site was well kept and the outhouse was clean. It was very private, too. There was a small amount of road noise, but it died down to nothing by night time. There’s a horseshoe game, lots of birds and red squirrels but almost no bugs! Maybe that was a fluke but we were not bothered at all.
The host was wonderful and very forgiving after we ran over and flattened the fire ring.
We would definitely stay here again! One of the best Hipcamp sites we’ve visited.

We loved camping on this beautiful historic property. Site and facilities were clean and the host was very nice and accommodating. Would highly recommend and would definitely camp here again on our next adventure.

This was our first time using the app and Nathaniel was a great host. He helped us out even when we showed up later in the evening
and we also bought bundles of firewood. Would definitely recommend staying here.

My wife and I stopped over on our way east. The campsite was just off the highway, easy to find, and very nice. Nathanael was very responsive and kind. Would recommend and definitely stay there again.

This was such a wonderful little site. We were alone on the site and despite it being a little bit rainy we had an amazing time. Nathanael made sure we had dry firewood and ensured that we were comfortable and all set. Would love to come back sometime! Definitely recommend staying here.

Nathan's spot was perfect for camping for the eclipse in the path of totality!
We loved our campsite right on the peninsula between a flowing and mostly dry creek, absolutely stunning! Just up the hill is a beautiful pond, the water and outhouse were very convenient. Nathan was super nice and had firewood for sale for us which was greatlh appreciated. We couldn't have asked for a better camping spot in Indiana!

We would come back again for sure. Unfortunately the weather for our week-long tent camping/hiking trip was mostly very cold and partially rainy, but even in the cruddy weather it was hard not to enjoy ourselves with all the beauty around us. We heard a fox, coyotes, two different species of owl, pileated woodpeckers, wild turkeys, racoons, and so many songbirds while sitting around camp or laying in the tent. We saw 100s of birds, deer, and squirrels all over the area. It did downpour rain for over 24 hours part of the trip, but it was a relief that the campsite never flooded or became too muddy. Several mornings when the weather was below freezing we would just take a scenic drive around to warm up before starting the day - highly recommend in the fall especially as the views were stunning in this part of the state. We very much enjoyed walking the well maintained trails of the property and soaking in the autumn colors. There were many trails in other parts of the Hoosier National Forest that were within an hours drive that were also great - we never saw another human on a single trail we chose. Pretty limited food/store options in the area. We found ourselves mostly using the Loves truck stop in Leavenworth for our meal and grocery needs, about a 20 minute drive from the property. Limited phone service with Verizon until you're in town. The host was great, he made sure we found the campsite, brought us a tank of water, and checked on us to make sure we were good!

Nathanael came to greet and welcome me on my arrival and to see if I needed anything. He gave me a history of the area and a few suggestions on things to see and do in the area.
The campsite was easy to find, his directions were perfect. We enjoyed the privacy and I specially liked hearing the trains off in the distance late at night sitting by a warm campfire.
I highly recommend this Hipcamp host and his property!!!!!!

The campsite was great and remote! perfect view of the sunset and stars at night. The road nearby can be a little noisy at night but not too bad that it'll keep ya up. Very well attended to by the host and they were lovely to meet!

Such a cute campsite on a beautiful farm! This site is on an old road bed and would be best suited for a small camper or someone who camps in their suv. It wouldn’t be a comfortable place for a tent. The Dry Creek campsite is perfect for tents though! I loved camping in my suv in this shady, secluded spot.

From the moment we pulled up to the moment we drove off we was in absolute awe of this amazingly beautiful property. Nathaniel was very accommodating even when I showed up early, I was worried I would be putting him out or that it was going to be a issue but to my surprise our site was already ready for us, promptly replied to messages, promptly informed me of a wasp nest as well as when he'd be addressing it,as well as once he addressed it and even answered questions that wasn't about the property but about the local area. The only issues we had was with signal, spiders, and ticks. Thankful that we were provided with a amazing experience with a Memorial Day weekend we'll always remember an cherish.

This is a really lovely spot. Our group rented this campsite and the neighboring one (Dry Creek) so we would have plenty of room for cars and tents and we wouldn't be sharing the area with anyone.. We ended up camping at the Dry Creek site because it was flatter and nicer and closer to the creek, picnic table, and outhouse, and farther from the road. The road was mostly quiet, but there were a few loud pickup trucks and people in ATVs zooming down it. We did come up to the Forgotten Lane site to watch the sunset, it was quite a lovely view from there.

Tent camping here was our first Hipcamp experience. Nathanael was in touch with easy to follow flawless directions before I even needed to ask. Campground was easy to locate and our eggs and AMPLE firewood were waiting for us before we got there.
The leaves aren't out yet so compared to the photo of the site on the listing there is a lot of sun and sky. Fantastic for star or cloud gazing. The site is so much bigger than the photos make it seem.
There is a Highway near by but it is not heavily trafficked and I don't remember hearing a single vehicle at night. Barely noticable during the day and never a distraction.
There are two campsites on this property that are close together, but the night we were there the other folks were awesome. They had a dog, and we had our dog, but there was no barking, no issues. You can't hear the other people talking or anything of that nature so it's not close like on a loop at a State Campground and there are some young trees and brush between so you don't really see anyone either. However, if you had your friends book the site opposite from you it would be great to be far enough apart for alone time but easy to meet up for games or whatever in the big open space between before the brush wall. A really cool set up that could work well for families with teens.
There was a toilet on site, outhouse style. I grew up having to use an outhouse when visiting my Grandparents in Eastern Ky and that was a SCARY outhouse... this was not. LOL

Both campsites are private and well maintained, even in January! Nathan stopped in to bring us firewood. He told us all about the farm space and was great to chat with. The outhouse was clean and lit at night…I didn’t expect that perk! The camp sites were easy to find with the directions provided; they were close to the road but hidden and we didn’t hear any cars overnight. Lots of cool nighttime sounds (owls, etc) and the night sky was incredible for stargazing!
Added bonus, we woke up to several inches of snow!
We’ll definitely be back to this gem of a spot!

We loved tent camping on Nathanael’s land. He met us upon arrival to show us to the spot and had our firewood waiting for us which was perfect! The ladies loved having the toilet! We would go back and camp again!

A place to enjoy nature! Fall asleep under a full sky of stars listening to the Coyote pups yipping and the owl in the distance. Great place to sit around a fire in peace and privacy. Would definitely go back!

Nathan was very attentive to our needs and went over and above any expectation we had to make us feel at home and welcome on our stay. His plans for the campsites are going to make that place a five star cam ground and I can't wait to go back. My dogs loved all the new scents and the wildlife. Keep up the work on the campground. Can't wait to get back.

It was a nice place to stay unfortunately though we had some camper next to us that were not great. Loud rude language. Fighting early in the morning. But other than that it was nice. The host was very friendly and helpful. Just would of liked a little more privacy.
