Looking for a quiet weekend in the country? Passing through central Indiana on your way to another destination? Cobbler's Knob might be the perfect place for you! We offer a peaceful setting on 25 acres with spaces for anyone looking for more privacy to those who'd like to be a little closer to the action of our working farm. We have large campsites that allow room for RVs, even on the primitive tent sites. Three of our sites offer water and electric hookup. We supply a fire pit for each site and can have firewood stacked and waiting for you upon request. We also have a bathroom with a toilet and sink near all of the campsites. You are welcome to stay at the farm for the entire stay or if you want to explore the area, we have many nearby attractions including many restaurants, antique stores, bars and wineries, coffee shops, etc. Indiana's oldest family-owned apple orchard, Dougherty Orchards is a must-see and located just a few miles down the road. If you are looking for a fun, safe, family atmosphere, Cobbler's Knob might just be the place for you!

This is a small, 25 acre farm with plenty of open space and clear sky to view the Solar Eclipse in the path of totality! We are located just a few miles off of I-70 in Milton, Indiana where the duration time for the eclipse is expected to be 3:55. We have plenty of space for primitive tent or RV camping ($75/night) along our lane with 2 open fields on each side. We also can offer 4 RV sites with electric and water ($125/night). Dogs are welcome as long as they are contained or on a leash (due to our animals - dogs, cows, and ponies). You are welcome to stay at the farm for the entire stay or if you want to explore the area, we have many nearby attractions including restaurants, antique stores, an orchard, bars and wineries, coffee shops, etc. If you are looking for a fun, safe, family atmosphere to enjoy this rare event, Cobbler's Knob might just be the place for you!

What an amazing stay my family and I had at Cobblers Knob the host were very kind and accommodating. The stay was delightful and comfortable. We were able to pull in and park. The Host are very responsive and kind. If your in the area be sure to try them out you won't be sorry!

Quiet and peaceful. The hosts are very kind. Site # 9 with electric and water hookup is pretty close to their house and some barns/ silos- not a major issue but something to be aware of.

Cobblers knob is a nice working farm with areas around the farm house to camp. I felt very at home there and enjoyed watching the animals and relaxing.

Hosts were welcoming. It was easy to find and navigate. Level parking was easy to find. Area was quiet. It was a nice place to stay in our van while traveling with our dogs.

Fun - Stay at a Working Family Farm

We camped in our two tents by a shed in a working family farm with wide open fields all around us. The night sky was amazing - you can see the Milky Way on a clear night. They kindly provided us a nice fire ring made from an old tractor wheel and some fire wood (bring your own axe or maul). We had a great time and visited with the family. The bathroom is in the back of the shop about 100 yards from the campsite and worked fine. The family has a couple of German Shepherds to work the farm and a cat or two. They were very friendly but roam freely, just so you know. I had a great time and would recommend this site highly. Thanks Sam!

The property is beautiful, easy to get to and the hosts are welcoming and just seem like good people. We got to say hello to the farm animals too (it would be very easy to avoid the animals if that's not your thing though)! Would absolutely stay here again and may very well be coming back in a few days on our way back through as we head home from our trip.

We stayed here one night on our way home. Tiffani and her husband were great hosts. They brought us firewood so we could have a fire. Felt very private. Would definitely stay here again.

this is a new hipcamp and the hosts are the SWEETEST!! easy to get too, the cutest cows and horses too :) I just needed to a place to rest after a long drive and I really couldn’t recommend this spot enough. thank you for being so kind!! (also the cell service here is amazing which is always a bonus for people who travel and work like myself!)

We had such a wonderful, magical time on Hokey Farm. Tiffani, Jarrod, and their family were incredible hosts. They went above and beyond in every regard - including providing firewood and a camp store, and personally attending to all the campers, making sure we had what we needed. Our kids loved seeing the animals and exploring the farm. We really felt like part of their family and felt sad to leave! We'll be so excited to stay here again if we're ever in the area. As for the RV spot and amenities, everything was perfect. Nice, flat, dry area to park with a beautiful view. Firepit was already set up. Electric and water worked great. No issues!

We loved staying at Cobbler's Knob! It is a working farm so you'll hear, see and smell the cows and horses. For my wife and I, a taste of home as we're both from the country. There aren't many lights so the stars are amazing! We saw Kestrel, blue birds, red wing blackbirds and killdeer and heard owls at night in the nearby woods. Tiffany and Jerod were more than accomodating. We have two unsocialzed dogs and they made sure we were on an end site. Communication with the hosts was readily available, directions were clear and stores were not too awfully far away. Wood, snacks and water were delivered directly to our site. These were not free of course, but were very reasonable...bring cash for them! My wife and I camped at Cobbler's Knob for the 2024 Eclipse and the wide expanse of sky and other friendly campers made the experience unforgettable. Our thanks to Tiffany and Jerod for a fantastic experience!

Tiffani is an amazing host. We had a wonderful time watching the 2024 Solar Eclipse. They have a beautiful place and their tween-aged children jumped in and delivered firewood and even opened a “camp store” for everyone’s convenience. I would definitely stay here again!

- Fantastic hospitality - very accommodating. Always accessible, but never intrusive. - Very easy to find and navigate with Class C - Level camping spaces, plenty of room between spots, good personal space - Good tasting well water, no issues with power or water - Activities for kids: lots of open space, volleyball net, indoor basketball hoop in workshop shed - Fun farm experience with animals you can visit - Tiffani and Jarrod (and Sam!) were wonderful hosts. Would definitely come again!

The hosts and their family were great. The kids were there checking on the campers on a regular basis and when you bought firewood they brought it right to your campsite. I stayed in a primitive site in a Hammock tent but it was large enough if you had a trailer/small rv that was set up for boondocking you could easily camp in the spot. I came for the eclipse but if I was ever back in that area I would not hesitate to book at Cobbler's Knob again.
