Turn your Lake Monroe or Hoosier National Forest outing into support for UNITED STATES veterans! We offer dispersed camping and a camp house offering a latrine, shower, and kitchen. Hipcamp proceeds go into a nonprofit operating account, helping build a fund that covers stays for United States veterans, spouses, surviving spouses, ancestors, direct decedents, IU Army & Air Force ROTC cadets. An honor system is in place for guests to borrow canoes, kayaks, SUPs, custom orienteering maps, compasses, mountain bikes, fishing gear, and field guides. The property features mowed trails, greenhouses, ponds, seasonal farm activities, and a creek in the back that makes for a nice hike to Lake Monroe. Equine trails to Patton Cave (Grubb Ridge) and the main Hickory Ridge trail system are also nearby.
