Soon, you will be able to make online reservations and payments as we gear up for spring. Whether you choose to work remotely from our peaceful RV sites or simply unwind, Camp Watauga is the perfect destination for outdoor enthusiasts. Elegant Watauga Lake Airstream - Deck - Lakefront

Visit our 27 foot Airstream on the banks of Watauga Lake in the Cherokee National Forest. Dock your boat steps away! Our Airstream is steps away from our docks on Watauga Lake in historic Butler, Tennessee. The Appalachian Trail passes alongside Watauga Lake. The lake offers marinas, boat rentals, watersports, and fishing (bass and trout). Beyond lake life, visitors can explore local wineries, antique shopping, Butler Museum, Blue Hole Falls, hiking, mountain biking, and offroad atv park. The space The interior boasts a clean and comfortable sofa and tastefully decorated living area. The kitchen is equipped with preparation utensils and serving ware. Appliances include Refrigerator/Freezer, 3 burner stove top, gas oven, and microwave. Outside is a gas grill for your use. Dedicated dock slip for this Airstream included. Bedroom features a walkaround queen mattress and pillows that are amazingly comfortable. The living area is configurable for an additional double size bed. The interior features two independent AC/heat pump units for bedroom and living spaces and gas furnace for cold nights. This is not boondocking; our Airstream is connected to electric, sewer, and water utilities. The walk in shower has abundant hot water. Just outside the comforts of the Airstream guests enjoy a gathering space overlooking the lake. A smokeless wood burning fire pit with a modest supply of wood is provided to enjoy. Guest access You'll have access to this Airstream and its attached 12' x 20' deck and outdoor dining area and fire pit. Our Airstream is located on an amazing waterfront site situated in a small park with a several seasonal guests. There is a dock for boats (please ask about a slip for your boat or a rental in advance), a beach area with access into the lake, and open space in the campground. We just ask that you follow the same guidelines as all guests at the facility. Other things to note There is rental agreement required outlining your stay in our Airstream and on Camp Watauga property. In our rental agreement you'll find expectations for the Airstream use and the campground property.
