I arrived later than I anticipated and was able to find everything really well with the instructions provided. It is a nice camping park with some facilities like bathrooms and showers. I enjoyed my stay thank you!

This was our second time staying at Whispering Pines Campground, and we just had to come back for their Fall Fest! My little boys (ages 4 and 2) had an absolute blast — from the mini pumpkin patch and petting zoo to the pony petting, playground, and carnival games. There was so much to do, and the amazing food trucks meant we never had to leave the campground for meals! The staff were so friendly and helpful, and both the cabin and bathhouse were spotless and well-maintained. We can’t wait to come back again next year! Spring break can't come soon enough!

We are typically super primitive camping types but my daughter said “hey mom can we have 4 walls, AC, and electricity but still have adventure?”. Well of course I said and this was the perfect mix. AC, microwave and mini fridge with actual beds was a great treat! We cooked on the grill and had a fire in the fire pit every night. Close to the Hennepin Canal for a hike or Geneseo for a cute town. Loved the close bathrooms and shower yet felt like you were away.
Suggestions: bring a wagon if you have a lot to bring to your site or cabin as you cannot pull up to your spot. Bring your own bedding. Do not bring firewood as it can endanger the local trees but firewood there is very very well priced!

Whispering Pines was very shaded, well kept and peaceful. Though on a main road, it was very quiet. 30/50 Amp power and water made it a very easy stay. No question, we would do it again if in the area!

Loved everything, but couldn't drive to the cabin, had to carry everything from the parking lot. Although the girl at check in offered to take everything over in the golf cart. Very friendly and very peaceful place.
We left very early but I would say the game room and hammocks were awesome. Everything thing was clean and as described.

We just got back from the most amazing stay at Whispering Pines in Geneseo, IL, and we can’t say enough good things about it! My wife and I brought our two boys (ages 4 and 1), and it was truly the perfect family getaway.
The modern cabin was spotless, beautifully updated, and had everything we needed to feel right at home. Our boys absolutely loved waking up each morning and heading straight to the playground and sandbox—it kept them entertained for hours. One of the highlights was the mini trail with a scavenger hunt, which was such a fun touch for the kids.
What really stood out was how kind and thoughtful the staff were. One of the employees went above and beyond by bringing a kiddie pool from her own home so our boys could splash around and cool off on the hot days. It made their trip extra special!
The bath house was extremely clean, and we felt completely safe throughout our stay. We are already planning our next visit next month because we loved it so much. Highly recommend Whispering Pines to anyone looking for a relaxing, family-friendly camping experience!

Wonderful venue for people with young kids. They have a playground on site. Plenty of fire pits for the all important s’mores. Facilities are clean and well maintained. Cabins do get very cold in colder weather so get warmer blankets if you run cold. Just a suggestion for the hosts maybe a space heater for winter time. Great place to stay!

We got there as soon as it started getting dark and had to leave early the next morning, so we didn’t get to do any exploring. But it was a nice quiet and safe place for our family to stay.

We really enjoyed our overnight stay at Whispering Pines. The host's were attentive, friendly and gracious. Our neighbors, the campers next to us were just as awesome. The amenities were clean and the water pressure in the shower was unexpectedly powerful and hot in a good way! This would be a lovely venue for a wedding, group trip or reunion or for campers like us just taking a road trip.

We had such a wonderful experience camping at Whispering Pines! The owners were so sweet and friendly! Our site was very clean and easy to access. So many options for a night's stay from RV camping to tent camping to cottages and even a retreat/wedding center. The hosts have created such a beautiful place! We will definitely be back when we are in the area again! Five Star Stay!!
