Once a large cattle operation, Triangle H Farm has evolved through being a corn, soybean and horseradish farm before its present use as a horse boarding, training, and lesson facility. As a matter of fact, depending upon the season, you can schedule a tour of our horseradish farm. We are top 10 producers of horseradish in the nation! Come see our 100 acres of camping possibilities and enjoy nature at its finest! We look forward to having you with us. Learn more about this land: Pitch your tent or plug in your RV (30 or 50 amp, or 110 volt) on our 110 acre horse farm. Choose between staying up closer to the barns or out in the timber. We have a nice primitive spot under a 100+ year old cottonwood tree that is near a stream. There is a picnic table there as well. About 1.25 mile down the trail from the main barn is a walnut grove with a picnic table. The same stream runs past the walnut grove. There is a spot for a fire too. If you want more rustic, feel free to cross the creek to the timber and choose a primitive camping spot there. Enjoy mowed trails to hike or bike. Water (from hydrants and hoses) and portopotty are up near main barns. We have 60 horses on the farm as well as goats, cats, and chickens. We do not offer access to horses unless you're in a riding lesson, or have scheduled a pony riding session. Pink boot horse made me feel safe when hearing evil noises at night. Great portapotty too. Deceivingly cute bunny but definitely evil. I woke up to a cock a doodle doo which reminded me of when I grew up on the farm. Sad memories, shed a tear.

Easy on/off the highway, the directions from our host was clear, large circular driveway so easy in and out. Fit our 35 ft fifthwheel no problem, relatively level. A little expensive for just electric, I think $25-30 would be more reasonable. But we had a family issue come up and this was a last minute stop for us due to changing directions. So we appreciated the last minute availability, and it was hot so we needed the electric for our A/C. Quiet, dark, and peaceful for a quick one night stop.

During the night we hardly got any sleep because of the road in front of the farm, honking trains and starting airplanes. Might be okay for soundproofed RV's but can't recommend for tents. We setup our tents on a grass strip behind all the horse pastures which is somewhat away from the everyday business on the farm. After sunset we were able to look at some fireflies in the bushes.

Fantastic Horse Farm
The horse farm is fantastic! Everyone and so friendly and helpful. We ere able to observe people working with horses all day long! Great place to walk. Close to Bethalto and Edwardsville so laundry and restaurants are close. If you are thinking about dry camping this is your place.

Fantastic Horse Farm
We loved tent camping on the fantastic horse farm! There was a picnic table, drinkable water, and our house- all we needed. The drive was an easy 30 minutes to St. Louis, so this location was perfect for our city adventure. We also loved hiking around the farm- it was so beautiful and peaceful! We would come back!

Horses and more horses. Camping site was a gravel parking lot between barns. But it was well-cared for and 30 minutes from a lot of attractions including the Gateway Arch. Be sure you fill fresh water tanks at their hose before you park. I would say stay for a night or two but longer stays will be boring.

What an awesome place to camp

Fantastic Horse Farm
What a place! The grounds were beautiful, the views were outstanding from we camped, and all the different horses were awesome to watch. It was quite, secluded, and overly peaceful. Emma and Marcy went above and beyond and made some last minute scheduling so my daughter could get a horse ride lesson. SHE LOVED IT, we all loved it! We will be returning for sure!

What a great opportunity to stay at a horse farm & have a private rodeo at your fingertips. EVERYONE was so polite & helpful, I just loved every minute of it. Not your typical campsite with table & firepit, but they do offer communal tables/chairs/firepit. They have a 1.5 mile trail to hike that would put most state parks to shame! They provide a generous welcome letter (via text) with check in instructions & recommendations on the local area. There's just NOTHING bad to say.

We were there in our aframe trailer for about 12 hours to sleep for the night. Port o jon was clean, they had 4 back/pull in spots in a row. No complaints.

Fantastic Horse Farm
I had a wonderful time staying at the horse farm. I booked last minute, but they were very accommodating. They were having a horsemanship clinic at the farm and invited me to join their potluck and bonfire! Very kind and inclusive. I was tired and had a long driving day ahead of me so I just kept to myself at one of the sites. There are two dispersed site options, one smaller area under a tree and then a little farther down there is one in the middle of a horse obstacle course with a number of trees spread around. I stayed at the latter and had a great night stay. There were some dogs barking at a house nearby which caused my dog to bark a bit but it stopped after a short time and we were able to settle down. Would definitely stay here again especially for a short stopover.

Fantastic Horse Farm
If you enjoy being at a stable with lots of horses, this is the place for you. We were the only folks staying the night and this location is quite a ways out from St. Louis.

Fantastic Horse Farm
This was a nice little stop for me. I didn't get to enjoy fully because of the rain. Lots of horses, beautiful sound of trains in the distance, roosters and generally a nice place to be. I would enjoy another visit if ever back this way.

Friendly people and horses! This is great spot for a camper. Easy to pull in and set up. Lots of horse activity in every direction, which is great if you're into it. If you're looking for a woodsy, super-private site, you may be disappointed. For campers and RVs though, this is great.

Fantastic Horse Farm
Easy access with plenty of room to maneuver our 43’ motor home. Sites are fairly level lined up side by side with plenty of room for slideouts and easy access to electric. Triangle H is a thriving equine boarding and training facility. We enjoyed the sights and sounds of folks working with their horses right outside our window.

The electric site was in a gravel parking lot that was very busy on the weekend and bright at night. However, my kids loved the farm animals and it was a short walk to the picnic area which was very scenic and nice. Not a typical camp site, but once we figured the place out we had a lot of fun.

Great camping near St. Louis
Fantastic Horse Farm
We spent a great night here as a quick stopover en route to Seattle from Maryland. Marcy is very responsive with messaging and was accommodating of our cousins that met us and camped in a tent after we had already booked for two of us in an RV. There are ~7 parking slips for RVs with power hookups right near the horse facilities. The horses were quiet at night and it doesn’t smell in the RV area. There were also a couple bonfire pits with lots of wood. Nobody from the farm greeted us or came around the RVs to check on everyone - definitely a nice-to-have at Hipcamps and not a requirement, but good to know in advance. You’ll also likely be within feet of other RVs, which we didn’t realize before getting there.

Nice, quiet secluded spot. We were the only ones there. Very close to Edwardsville where you can pick up any kind of food or supplies.

This was a quick but perfect stay. We got there late, hooked up to the electric and fell right asleep. Then woke to a bustling and tidy horse farm and left in the morning. Short and sweet.
