It was perfect for our night stay. It was dark by the time we drove in, and the owner met us at the driveway to help us drive in and helped with getting us hooked up. Beautiful view. You can hear the freeway as it is close by, but it didn’t bother us. Would stay again if ever passing through this area again!

The site was fine for an overnight stay. The owner was friendly and accommodating. We parked in the grass in the yard in front of the house. I thought it was going to be a little more secluded surrounded by a field. There was a noisy highway nearby. Not a place that I’d want to stay for several days, but worked well for an overnight stay.

Eric was very very accommodating and low-key. He made sure we had everything we needed. And his farm is very open and welcoming. The lightning bug show at dark was more than I have ever seen in my life. And I was born in an area with
a bunch of lightning bugs.

We loved staying here! The host met us when we arrived and explained his set up. The site is level and grassy with a picnic table, electric hook up, and water. Plus there were fireflies!!! Magical!

Eric came out to greet us when we got there and helped us figure out where to park. He gave us the WiFi password and also recommended a couple of places to eat! It was very quiet and relaxing. Susan even asked if we wanted our awning in due to the rain when we were gone at a concert!
Location was close to breweries and places to eat but secluded out in the country! I’d definitely stay again!

Great place to take a 2 day break on a long trip. Lots of room to run your dogs and very peaceful. Close to tons of restaurants and micro breweries. Owners were very chill and very helpful.

This was a great one night stay on our trip out west. We are planning to stay again on our return. Good set up with a view of the corn field. Quiet and friendly hosts. Look forward to the return trip!

The site was very neat and clean, easy to access. The electricity and water were very easy to access (note need for 50-30 adapter.) Susan’s husband (?) came out quickly to greet me and showed me the utilities and suggested best places to park for level site.

Easy to find, level grass parking with 50 amp service & water. Eric was very friendly. Even took my wife on an ATV ride when the walk to the lake was too much for her. A bit of traffic noise but nothing earplugs couldn't solve. Would stay there again.

Plenty of room. Susan and her husband were very accommodating. Close to good restaurants and craft beer;) We booked 2 more nights on our return trip from Tennessee to Minnesota.

5/5 stars! Susan’s place was super easy to find and easy to pull into. I had 5 dogs with me and it was plenty roomy enough for me to potty all of them! It was very quiet, and very spacious.

The hipcamp was easy to find. The grass was mowed, electric and water were easily available. A little traffic noise but not to bad. There is wifi. Very friendly host. I would camp there again

Great overnight spot traveling through Illinois! Scenic Ag country to drive through to get there and easy access site with turn around space fo r any size rig. Erik came out to greet us and settle us in. We'll definitely be back as needed on our cross country travels.
