Cute cozy private creek site
Had no issues finding the ranch after entering the trail ride address, just had to pull up the instructions on where to drive through the farm to reach the site. Site is super cozy and private in its own little corner with a flowing creek, wooden bridge, fire pit (no grate, bring your own). Trail rides were going on all weekend but they didn't come past our site at all. After bedtime the horses came over the bridge and did their own thing in the fields. We heard several different species of owls, saw many other various birds, crawfish, little baby fish, and many different colors of butterflies. NO pesky raccoons like at campgrounds! The goats in the petting zoo at the front are very friendly and sweet. We only spoke with Meredith in passing, but she was helpful to any questions we had. The outhouse is in the very back of the trail ride barn kind of hidden. The trash bin and the water spout are all a few steps from the outhouse. The train passed by on one night, but not the other. It is definitely loud, but it doesn't last long and you can just go back to sleep. It's such a cozy little spot, we would definitely return! Thanks for having us!

Serene campsite with fun animals!
We really enjoyed the Millbrook Trail Rides camp site and would highly recommend. Ours kids were so thrilled to see the different animals on the property —horses, donkey, goats, cats…We really appreciated the privacy, the brick fire pit and being close to the creek. The middle of the night train was exciting and the kids enjoyed hearing it. It passed by quickly. We also enjoyed the stars and overall would definitely return again!

It was so beautiful, the horses free roam at night but they are so cool. And the way the train passes over the tracks (when we went) at sunset . Gorgeous

Site Beautiful! Lacks communication
The campsite was primitive but beautiful. The communication was awful. I sent a message 3 days prior to my visit to ask if firewood was available. I have yet to receive a response and I have returned from my trip. The address given is incorrect and says you’ve arrived and you are in the middle of nowhere. I called the contact information and the person who answered said “Ya you have to enter the name of the trail ride for the correct address “ If you now that, fix it on your listing. When I finally actually arrived I was given very vague instructions as to where to camp and was told not to drive across the bridge. I could camp in the field before the bridge or carry my things across the bridge. The scenery was beautiful I enjoyed the space. I was there 2 nights and no one ever came to greet me. Besides the lack of communication, the site itself is beautiful. I would like to camp there again, just hoping better communication is given. If booking, make sure you get the correct address. Also, a heads up as to when the horses are let out. It’s a little startling and having 2 dogs I would have liked to have known what to expect. Seeing all the horses was amazing. Please don’t be discouraged by my review. Better communication from the host would be helpful.

Great Experience
Very cool, peaceful place! We set up on the barn side of the creek and had plenty of space with a small pop up. Meredith and family/friends/staff were all very nice. Picnic table and fire pit on the opposite side of the creek for use. Port o potty was clean. Horses are amazing and well trained! We did a one hour trail ride as well, well worth the minimal cost even if just driving down for the day.

This place is amazing, especially if you have kids or are an avid animal lover! Highlights are: the privacy, the horses, the creek for kids to play in, the petting area, and the big swath of land to explore. We come every year and it is a highlight of our summer. Thank you, Meredith, for sharing your beautiful animals and land! What a treasure! ❤️
