Island Park Site 301
Private
Amazing, beautiful, serene, one of the best places around. The owner and employees are top notch. Love what they are doing with the place. Keep up all the great things.

ShadyHill Park Tent Site 208
The showers were very rough, not draining and curtains were see through on the women's side. 208 was right in the middle of 5 other sites which was uncomfortable. No privacy at all. The night we stayed, quiet hours were not enforced and a literal brawl took place in the middle of the first night that woke us up it was so loud and scary. We paid to do archery, but half the arrows were falling apart and the bows were clearly old and out of practice. Kayaking was overpriced too. However, the staff was amazing, the area was unique, and there were quite a few free things to do in the resort. We had a nice time anyway.

Great place to camp
What a nice campground! Quiet with a lot of amenities. Played mini-golf ( 2 holes in one,) and corn hole. Fished at the lake. General store had the essentials. Employees were super nice. Will definitely go back!!

ShadyHill Park RV Site 202
Weird place with tiny sites
I'm not totally sure where to begin with this one. The pictures and description look amazing. I didn't feel that way camping there though. We got moved to site 201 because that one had full hookups and 202 does not. The sites are incredibly narrow so much so that our sewer connection was basically in the neighbor's site. The tent sites look a little more spaced out.
When we got there, it felt super weird. Just a strange vibe and all of the people at the other sites were staring at us as if we didn't belong there. That is a similar feeling when we drove down by the lake to check that out before purchasing the pass to swim. There's no real parking down there and you almost haver to walk through people's camp sites to get to the lake.
Everything is an extra there, swimming, mini golf, corn hole, etc. We paid for mini golf and it was $27 for 4 people. The course looked like it used be nice, but none of the fountains or water are moving anymore so it's just buggy and boring.
Our site was supposed to have a table and fire pit, it had neither. I did message them and they brought stuff out.
The only way I can describe our neighbors was hillbilly. They stayed up very late talking and playing music and since the sites are so close, it felt like they were in our camper with us. They drank a ton and one of them crashed their car into the main entrance gate which brought the cops the next morning.
We ended up leaving a day early and going somewhere else. Would not recommend.

A unique treasure + amazing hosts
I cannot say enough about not only the hosts, who went out of their way to help when I had a huge problem with my vehicle, but the lakes and nature scenery were outstanding. It was the best unplanned stop I've made. The owner and his staff are the rare type who inspire faith in humanity. Anyone can relax here with swimming, kayaking, fishing mini golf... It has it all and I am so grateful for their help and the experience!

Culdesac Park Site 103
Awesome place with a beautiful lake that hold some big fish. Site 103 was nice and secluded. Will be back here again
