Located in the heart of the Upper Pack River valley in the North Idaho Panhandle. Explore thousands acres of trails and wildlife, that is largely YOUR land. Deer, elk, moose, bear, cats, and more. Rivers, creeks, pristine mountain lakes are full of fish. Sandpoint proper is an artsy, vibrant, and fun-filled town. Great restaurants, breweries, bars, and live music. Just twenty minutes away. Schweitzer Mountain boasts the best skiing in the region! If you are a big game hunter, this is the valley for you !! World class snowmobiling is right up the valley. The cottage is also located in extremely good snowmobiling country.There is a hot/cold/room temp water dispenser in the cabin. There is an electric teapot to boil water quickly. There is a French press and a fresh coffee for your enjoyment in the morning. There is also a variety of teas and honey. The mini fridge is for your use, please empty of contents prior to departure The propane grill is outside to the right of shower area. There is an outdoor shower for you to use, stocked with shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Simply turn on the water valve at the bottom. It is self igniting. There is an outhouse for the bathroom. There is a closet bucket toilet in the foyer that you may use for #1 only, preferably just at night, or for kids. PLEASE only #1. If you wish to have a bonfire, please only use the wood that is in the little covered box next to the firepit. The main wood shed is for indoor use only. I will post signs if there is a fire ban. We currently are not under a restriction. Well behaved doggos are more than welcome. Please pick up after them and throw it over the fence. I have an elderly dog here that is super sweet. Please let me know if your dogs don’t get along with other dogs. Please throw the labeled dog sheet on the bed if your dogs want to sleep in bed with you.

Upper Pack River Cottage

lots to explore in the upper pack river valley. Our experience with Mike as a host was fantastic, very accommodating. The cottage is very cozy and has many little extras stocked insids, flashlights right where you need them if your going out in the night, board games and cards, reading material, a book on the hiking trails in the area, cutlery and the shower works great. We highly recommend this getaway. This cottage would also be a great location to have close access to hunting in the area during the season as well.
